Well so far this has been a very good month of poker for me. I started this run at the end of august with 200$'s my buddy sent me, won a 24 person tournament and never looked back. I spent the start of septmeber playing tournies and multi-tabling SNG's till I built my bankroll up to around 1200. Then I decided to try something new, turning to cash to see how would go. 100 NL was my game of choice for all of september and I definately ran very well and by the end of september I was playing mostly the deep tables.

I decided at this point I needed to upgrade from my 6 year old Dell which froze randomly all the time and my old computer monitor I would plug into my laptop. So thanks to my good fortune at the tables I got to go on a spending spree and for a poker player that is one of the most exciting things to do. I purchased a brand new HP laptop and a 24" HP HDMI monitor. Also spend some money on my cardrunners membership (A waste cuz it was free right after I bought it) and PT3. PT3 was my best investment ever, it change my game completely. Using a HUD allowed me to play more tables and get a much better feel for what people where doing on the tables.

As for novemeber, Im up about close to 9k playing mostly 1/2 six max and also some 2/4 - 5/10 CAP NL. I found the 1/2 to be very easy once I got a handle of it. And the players at CAP NL are just terrible so there's always so free money to be found there if I feel like doing something different.

Well thats my month so far hope I can keep going, Ill update you guys later. O this upcoming weekend I'm going on a trip with a couple of my buddies to Turning Stone casino in NY. They have a couple tournies going that weekend buyins around 200-300 and fields of 200-300 so I'm pretty exicted, hopefully I'll run well there. And they also have 1/2 and 2/5 six max tables. I've never played a live six max table so definately another thing Im looking foreward to doing.
