Today I probably had the toughest struggle by far, in any of my 4BI challenge days...if that makes anysence.
I had the lowest WR towards acheiving 4BI's, so this meant I played the most hands, and struggled the hardest. But this made it all the better when I finally pulled it through. I played close to 3K hands for the first time in a while, and I was down 3BI's at about 1K hands. Despite a pretty rough beat for stacks, I still battled back to make 188 dollars.
So what so I do? Multitable HU to break the 4BI mark obv.
I sat down w a guy I really respect at 6max, but he didn't play one hand from the button,
and I snapped off a river bluff from a donk to run it up to 211 for the day. This one felt really good, because it wasn't easy, and I felt I had to really earn the money that I made.
I really out played my opponents and by the end of the day I had built pretty much all of my stacks up to at least 75, and over 150, just by playing good solid aggressive poker. So I was very pleased with myself, but the real goal is to make it one whole week in a row, that'd be some bad ass shit. I feel that I am kind of doing everything better at this level, than I was at 25NL, which shows with a higher WR over more hands, so there is no reason that I shouldn't be able to win more days in a row.
