Fukn appartment complex

So I had everything lined up to pick up my puppy on Sunday, but just found out yesterday that I am not allowd to have a dog in my building. Aparently only a certain couple buildings in my complex have the privliages and needless to say I was crushed when I found out there was nothing I could do in time. I am now on a wait list to move appartments when one opens up and i'll be able to look for a new pup at that time.

However I have already cashed out a 500 dollar check which is on its way, and I didn't really want to re deposit it, so I decided to invest it in my game. I bought myself a new 19" LCD Moniter made by LG. I am typing on it right now and it is sick as fuk. I will pay Novembers car insurence with the remainder of the check, and be able to give 2 full months dedicated to poker, with no necessary cash outs.

I started playing 10 tables of full ring, and at first it was difficult to get the hang of 4 extra tables right off the bat, but I feel I am getting the hang of it now. I cracked the 1K profit mark yesterday and it took me exactly 21 days, to do it. Needless to say i was very proud of this at 25NL, but to make it even more impressive I was completely break even after 7 days. So in two weeks I profited 1K at 25NL, that's chill. By the time I get the hang of playing 10 tables I should be somewhere close to my goal of 50BI's for 50NL. I was creeping up on it until I had to bust that c/o but o well, I am really enjoying the low stress lifestyle that 25NL is making very possible for me right now.

So hopefully I can keep on this pace and I will easily break my previous record of months profit of 1,290 in June. Most of that was at 50NL, so this would be a much bigger acomplishment for me.

Pork-Chop

So today I found out that I will be getting a dog and I couldn't be much more excited! He is going to be a tan Old English Bulldogge and I plan on naming him Pork-Chop, Porky for short. He is 3 months old and is currently in Pueblo. I am going to pick it up on Sunday and here comes the only bad part. To get him I have to cash out 1/3 of my BR. This kinda sucks cause I'll have to cause out another 220 here pretty soon for car insurance, but I have no problem spending another month at 25NL. This month has been great so far, and I feel there is still much room for improvement.

I will still be very sufficiently rolled for this limit with 44 BI's so I don't see it being a problem other than it will keep me from moving up for just a little bit longer. This is really no big deal, and I will enjoy my time a this easy level while I still can.

This is the best thing that poker has given me to this date and I couldn't be happier! There isn't much more that I could ask for when i started out this month with less than 300 in my account and played only 25NL and put such strick restrictions on myself. I am really happy that this worked out because if it hadn't I would have been busto w nothing to show for it. Instead I will still have over 1G and a new puppy, now that is bad ass for 3 weeks of 25NL imo.

After I get him this weekend I will upload some pics to the blog, I can't wait!

oh well

After ending the streek yesterday, and playing so many days in a row I really couldn't find the motivation to play well today. I just kinda of donked off a few BI's and realized my head wasn't in it and decided to log off for a much needed break. I'm not going to play any poker till sunday, and even then I am not going to be able to play to much because of homework. But hopefully I'll have enough time to get in my four BI's and start a new streak.

So when I logged off today my account was at 1,389 and this is a very impressive climb from the 300 dollars I was left with. This includes a 285 dollar bonus, and only played at 25NL. I ventured over to 6max a few times this month and just got tortured both times for 3 BI's so I am over that.

So for now I am going to get pokaz of my mind and have a good time for my 20th bday!

So my streak was ended yesterday...Sadly but truely I had my first losing day in a week. I started out running hot as could be and I was up 2BI's after 200 hands. My concentration started fading and l logged off quickly after that.

When I came back it was completely the opposite story. Everything started going wrong. I started playing poorly and it was all downhill from there. I made bad calls, I tilted and I couldn't really seem to do anything right. It was late an I hadn't gotten in all of my 2K hands and I tried to push myself until midnight to try to save my streak, but it wasn't to be.

I ended up turning a set of tres and winnning a big pot, but it wasn't enough to get me in the green for the day. I ended up down about 1/2 a BI and I decided that was prolly about the best it couldn't have ended, considering I was down at least 2BI's for the majority of the session.

O well, what can you do, my old roommate is coming into town today from Scottsdale, so I will be taking the rest of the week off poker. I will hopefully be able to get in some hands today, but other than that I am going to try to get poker completely off my mind for a little bit. I've been grinding pretty hard for about 2 weeks straight and I can definitely use this time off. I will come back with a fresh mind, and take a crack at my current record of 6 winning days in a row...

Lucky number six

So in this stretch of 4BI+ days that I have been have I haven't yet gone in the red for more than 5 dollars for five straight days...until today. Through 500 hands I was down 2 BI's and needless to say this shook me a little. I took a little time off and hung out w a buddy and got poker off my mind for a little.

Him and some of his buddies asked me if I wanted to join them for some beers and Monday night football, and I really wanted to, but the allure of a six day streak was calling my name. I knew I had to make 7BI's in less than 1500 hands and there was no way I was doing this if I drank anything. Plus my buddy is coming into town for a long weekend, and I will probably take a couple days off to do nothing but party. So I decided to go to work instead of partyin tonight.

Thank heavens I played better this time around and I ran up up 7BI's in 600 hands. Of course I was 1.30 below the clean 100 so I had to go back and 4 table. I flopped a set OOP, but this wasn't enough to get me what I needed, and I was down to playing one table and had to make a soul read call with third pair to beat king high before I logged off with my 6th four BI day in a row. I am feeling really good now and I feel there is now reason that I can't make 300-400 dollars a week at this limit, so there is no reason to move up until I can easily make at least 500 at the next limit.

I am really hoping that I will be reporting back tomorrow with my seventh day in a row. That would be sick, but today I heard Patrik Antonius talk about how he used to have winning days 9/10 at these limits. So i am shooting for 8 days in a row before Mike gets here. That would be dope.

four and counting

Today I knocked off the 4th day in a row of making at least four BI's. However one of the loopholes in my restrictions set for myself is that I can keep playing after I hit 4 BI's, if the games are good, and it's fri-sun. Because these are usually when the games rage into the night at their best, and I just can't really afford to be missing that action right now.

So I kept playing a ran into one cooler of AA vs KK but other than that I did well, and stacked a donk right before ending the night. I ended up 6 1/2 BI's for 2K hands, so a very pleasing day to say the least. Got some good study time in and did my laundry so I feel I did very well today.

After today I really want to win 4BI's 5 days in a row, as I think that would be a really cool feat to win 1/2 grand in 5 days, with such harsh restrictions set for myself. I have been running very well and the lowest I've ran out of the 4 days is 10BB/100. I also feel that I am playing well to go along with it, as I laid down aces and kings on the flop today as overpairs. I don't think I could have done this a month ago, and I'm almost positive they were the right folds, and even if I was a little ahead they were the right folds cause I stayed on the tables and won for the day.

I think I can somewhat keep this pace up for the rest of the, and it'd be sweet to crack a grand for only the second time in my short poker career.

Meh...

So I have some good news and some bad news from today. The bad news first would be the girl I was trying to get with turns out to be an aweful busy girl. She is on the CU dance team and she is in a sorority that happens to be doing rush next week. All of this not to mention she is a very dedicated student and pre med at the time. So needless to say she had practice tonight and tomorrow morning and it she had to do home and do some homework instead of kicken it w me... o well what can you do, at least she called to tell me so I won't hold it against her.

The good news is I continued my winning streak and reached my goal! I had 3 consecutive winning days, and not only did I do that...they were all 4BI days, so I am up 12BI's in 3 days, pretty chill. I played well today but finally ran into some coolers so it took me 2K hands to finally get there but I feel that I played pretty well most of the session.

My goal is too now have 5 days in a row with 4 BI profits. This should be very doable since I have two of the best days of the week in front of me. I think 5 days in a row with 4BI's a day would be phenomenal and I also think that it is very doable looking at my progress so far.

I know I am running hot right now, but I really think that this is sustainable, because when looking back on almost every single one of my daily graphs I was up 4BI's at 25NL at one point of another in the day. If was I playing to win, like I am now, I would have been able to log off when the line was at, or closest to its highest.

just a quick update I got super lucky and didn't jinx myself and just got the confirmation for tomorrow. I am lucky this isn't 2+2 cause I'd obv. have to show pics of her and me and both our families and one w her dancing or it didn't happen. But i always thought it was halarious when people expect you to have pics after a first date, what kind of creeper takes/asks for a pic on the first date. Thats one reason I don't think many 2+2ers go out very often, oh well to each his own. I'm done ranting for the day, but I think I might have to dub today the best 9/11 in a while, haha, at least for me anyways

Good Day

Blog by : Sawcruhteez

So today I knocked out day two of my target of 3 winning days in a row. Today was a very funny day as it took me 600 hands to win 98.90. This was technically $1.10 away from beat my record pace of 700 hands to get there. So what do I do? Log on to win 1.10 playing 25NL obv. But I never dreamed how big of a task I had ahead of me. To keep a long story short I will just say I was 4 tabling, and I played about 70 hands against this maniac playing 80/60/5. I didn't play this many hands because I didn't want to leave the table, I played this many hands because I never broke 100 dollars!!! I at one point I had an entire stack in on the flop 3 way with bottom two pair. That aforementioned donk sucked out on the turn make his top pair trips and rivered a boat showing 94o.

I ended losing like 2 dollars in the session that lasted about as long as it took me to make the 4BI's. I got dealt AA twice and picked up the blinds obv. It was pretty crazy and I was wondering if it was because of my changed mindset, but o well.

I logged off and ate a pizza and while I was eating I got a call and I don't want to jinx anything yet, but I might have a possible confirmed date w a girl from the CU dance team, shes suppose to call me back later so we'll see how that goes...she does seem like a pretty cool girl for now.

Riding the high from that convo, and the one from the bong toke I took, I decided to log on and make my last 3 dollars and I finally did it! It took a little while but I still did it in under 1K hands, so thats bueno.

Today was suppose to be my day off poker cause I have class all day, but i did that and still knocked off 4 BI's, all this after getting drunk last night and lost on my bike ride home only to lose my weed sack when I found my way back home, I had to go back and look for it obv. and thank the heavens I found it a couple blocks away in the road right when I was about ready to give up looking for it...true story

so I would say all in all today was a very good day...

4 BI dayz

Blog by : Sawcruhteez
0

Since i put this new restriction on myself i have found it dificult to remain disciplined and cash out right when I hit the 4 BI mark. Two of the last couple days I have hit this mark in under 1K hands, and it just felt so good to run this hot for a change. So it was obviously going to be hard for me to log off when it's only 2 in the afternoon and I got nothing else to do all day.

So two days ago on the 8th I hit 4BI's at about 660 hands and I couldn't have been playing/running better. I won pretty much all of my pots at showdown and it felt great. I knew I should log off but it was just way too hard esspecially when I was playing deepstacked w someone running 90/10 over 100 hands.

So I stayed and I played and I mde close to 6 BI's before hitting the wall, as always. I lost about 3 of them before I logged off and I was furious at myself.

So this time I made sure not to make the same mistake, and eventhough I was running hot as could be I clicked sit out next blind on all of my tables when I thought that my profits had reached 4BI's. And when I went into PT to check my results for the day I was exactly right, as I won 100.00 dollars in 705 hands. This is my best so far and I am now challenging myself to try and reach this point and log off for the day in less hands. It took me 300 hands to even make a dollar today so this shouldn't be too hard of a mark to break.

And to help me stay motivated and as sharp as possible I am going to issue myself a few new challenges. I want to have 3 winning days in a row, with at least to of them at the 4BI mark. I then want to try to have 5 winning days in a row.

Before I move up to the next level I need to be beating this game consistantly, with variance playing a small role. If I am on top of my game and sharp I should be able to have winning days at least 4 days out of the week, and this is setting my goal pretty low I feel.

I need to be fully concetrated for every session, and just because I won in the last session, that does not mean I have to lose this one. The games don't change much day to day, but my game almost changes astronically day to day. I need to stop this if I want to strive to be a winning player in the long run.

If I only have to hit that 4BI mark 20 days in order to be fully rolled for the next level. It seems simple to hit this mark when I am playing and I want to keep playing because these wins don't seem big enough to me. But you just have to see things in the long run and know that by hitting 4 BI's and logging off you just crossed off one of those days.
