your always improving

0

ok so ive just recovered from a horrible downswing, 2 days worth which saw me lose 350 playing like a moron.

i spoke to another cr member who cleared up a few things for me which i was doing wrong, even though the card runners video potray a style and advise what to do and not to do in certain spots i was interpreting this the wrong way.

an example of this was where im unsure if im beat, e.g i would have a high pair and the flop consisted of a over card or something and someone bets, i would reraise for info when i should be folding as i was wasting money in the long run by putting unnecessary money in the pot.

ive added more change to my style and am now avoiding even more bad spots , this new style has been working for the past week and worked perfectly in a live cash game for me yesterday.

all i can say to people is always discuss situations with someone or clarify something just to make sure you understand the full concept.

although i was profiting online and live playing poker, i would be swinging alot.

here is this months graph, the massive downswing was the 2 days mentioned and the upswing at the end is me playing with this new style and having a clear understanding of what to do in certain spots.

the next two days will be the challenge because the weekend is always when i swing the most.

lets see how the results look by sunday night.
