been playing well and running slightly above avg. still. and lemme say, it feels awesome. i have an abnormal amount of stress in my life right now ( getting married in less than a month) and its a huge weight off when poker just seems like an automatic win every session. plus the rakeback is adding up quickly. i got $371 for just the last 5 days in january. along with cakepoker, i've been slowly builing a roll on UB (turned 500 in 3400ish last 2 weeks).

i've been playing a lot on cake poker lately and killing it. i've spent some time playing next to my younger brother when hes playing. he plays much higher, but its been sooooooooo huge to talk through hands with someone during actual play. im up a ton (for me) in january, about 18k. not trying to do too much in every hand has been the key for me in righting the ship.

i am about to start a 6 hour a day 5 table 1/2 nl run til the end of the year on absolute. my goal is to make 5k and few mistakes. i've been playing and running so poorly in the last 2 weeks that i had to take a little break. but im refocused and im gonna crush for the next 10 days.

i've been playing HU on stars for the last week and done really well and gotten my confidence back. i've made about 12 buyins inthe last 3 days

since i started playing on absolute about 6 months ago, playing only 1/2 nl, i am +48,987. i have a firm rule to not raise limits on this site because i'm using it to stabilize my income. i havent had even 1 losing week since i started. The double stacks gives me the biggest edge. before PET_REID i played on the same site under the name donkey1211 with similar results. also, patience and the fact that i dont have a "degenerate gambler" bone in my body, have added to the success. But lately i have been playing like a retard, jamming with any big draw, making way too many speculative calls. and just losing my patience with trying to win $40 or 50$ pots. I think im gonna cash out down to about 4k left in my acct. maybe that'll help me value the money a little better

i started playing a little low-medium LHE on ap with good results, but i cant get a damn HU LHE game because no one will play me for some reason.

I've also started taking up MTT's on various sites. before this week i had played in less than 10 online mtt's in my life. but this week i've won 2 small mtt's and it gave me a ton of confidence. I won a $10 HORSE tourney and a 171 player $20 HU tourney. i played all the big tourneys today and got shit on.. gots to keep practicing
