Hello CR world. Been a little bit since I updated and I've been quite busy during my time away from the blog world. Poker wise march pretty much sucked so lets not talk to much about that. I played pretty poorly then ran pretty poorly which made for not so hot of a month. Whatever, I've decided to drop the # of tables I'm playing and really focus a little bit better. The mass multitabling(lol 12 tables for me) is just not my thing, kind of takes the enjoyment out of it for me especially when running bad/playing bad. So I'm going to try to stick to 6 tables at a time in April and hopefully maintain a solid winrate for the month. Enough poker, onto the good stuff. We closed on our house on March 25th which was pretty awesome. The week leading up to the closing was pretty terrible due to what seemed like some serious incompetencies with our bank. We were trying to close about 4 days early which would have been Monday the 21st until the bank called us on Friday at 4:30pm and was like, uh we need some more information on your husbands income. Nice timing asking for further clarification on my income 30 mins before the end of the day on the eve of our bumped up closing date. Let me give you a little insight into our problem. My wife applied for the loan herself, to see if she could get approved for the full amount since I would rather not have to deal with trying to inform people at a bank how I make a reliable income. Unfortuantely my wife couldn't quite qualify for the whole loan herself, but she was very close. So they needed to add me to the loan. Well since my wife almost qualified for the whole loan herself and I make more than my wife you would think that this wouldn't be a big deal. We even got "pre-approved" which I am putting in quatation marks because it doesn't appear to be worth anything. So we get the call Friday that they want some more info, I've already sent them every single bank statement I have as well as 2008 and 2009 tax returns. However these people cannot understand why FTP is not giving me a 1099, and I'm like lol push for regulation is this will probably be easier for the both of us. So now they are like, we want some more information on your 2010 results. So I send them a HEM screen shot for 2010 and a thorough explanation. Not enough... oh by the way we have at this point bricked the Monday close date and it is currently not looking good for our new Wednesday close date. So then I email FTP black card support(which is the nuts btw) and get them to send me my withdraw history from 2010 in excel form. I send that to the bank, that is not enough for them. So then I send them a screen shot of all of my incoming wires for 2010 which COINCIDENTALLY match my FTP withdraws. Still not enough. At this point it is late Wednesday, we are already having to cancel appointments we had set up at the house for thing we wanted to get done before we moved in for the weekend. The new bank update is now things are not looking good period. I proceed to grill them on the "pre-approval" process and how I can't understand how if my wife can almost cover the loan on her own, and I have 3 years of tax returns proving that I make more money than she does how this is becoming such a huge problem. They keep saying "we can't verify your income" and I am like "it's on the tax returns, what do you think I just paid that much income tax over the last 3 years for shits and giggles?" So now their new plan is to try and do the loan on my wife's income alone again. The regional manager of the bank signs off on some exception that allows it even tho they can't verify my income but because they know that I do make some money. LOL. OK. So now it is late Thursday and we are for reals close to the closing deadline. They are telling us all they need is one last underwriters signature then they can send the loan to the attorney for closing in the AM.... BUUUUUUUT the underwriter had a family emergency and had to take her grandson to the hospital. So we have to wait for this lady to get back in the office, review the changes and sign off on them. We are told it will happen first thing in the morning. Friday rolls around, a few updates in the AM but nothing substantial as we wait around with our cars packed. Finally at 11:30... did this seriously take the underwriter 2.5-3 hours to review a few changes to the loan and sign her name?... we get the ok to head to closing at 2pm. YAY. Well the week wouldn't be complete without one more sweat, as we neared the end of signing all the papers the lawyer let us know they hadn't recieved the wire from the bank yet. It was 3:45 and bank wires close at 4:00 pm on friday. Luckily the wire came through with a few minutes to spare and we became homeowners. We still need to get some stuff done to the house, like fence in the back yard and paint the master bedroom but overall the house needs very little work and already looks great. I won't delay the pictures any longer. Street View

Backyard So yea that is the house. There are another 2 bedrooms that I didn't even take a picture of as well as 2.5 bathrooms in the house. It's awesome and looking back now living in a condo sucks even more than I thought it did when I was there, although our crappy neighbors are partially to blame for my bias. In golf news its Masters week. I just got a new camera a couple of weeks ago that is a super high speed casio. It's the ex-fh 100 model and can shoot videos up to 1000fps, albeit the resolution is pretty horrific at 1000fps. I bought the camera almost specifically for Augusta this week and I went down there on Tuesday with my friend who I'm going to be launching the junior golf academy with. (for reference we normally shoot all the videos at 240fps which is what you will be watching below) We got into Augusta at about 11 and he was like let's go park in player parking. I was like AWESOME! I guess every year in the past he has been able to park in player parking bc in general he has been working a little bit with a player who is playing. This year he has spent sometime with Eduardo Molinari, who kind of makes our club his USA practice facility, so he dropped that name at security for player parking. I'm sitting there looking down magnolia lane busting out the camera because I am for sure going to film this in HD. Unfortunately Augusta mixed it up this year and you needed a special permit to get into player parking so we got turned away. Oh well would have been pretty epic to drive down magnolia lane. The weather was pretty crappy on Tuesday, pretty chilly and super windy so that definitely hampered a lot of the practicing that players were going to put in for the day. I think Tiger was literally only on the property for about an hour before he did his press conference and left. We got some pretty decent video so I'll go ahead and post some of the better stuff. Alvaro Quiros on 18 VIDEO Hunter Mahan on the range with Sean FoleyVIDEO Tiger Woods on the range with Sean Foley VIDEO Tiger Woods pitch shots face onVIDEO Tiger Woods pitch shots from behindVIDEO Sergio Garcia driver off the deckVIDEO I've got a few more videos but I'm getting pretty tired so I'm going to try and wrap this up. After we got off the property we went to a bar to wait for a Taylor Made contact so we could go to this house party that some big wig at TaylorMade was throwing. So were sitting at this bar, messing around and I look up to see Sean Foley sitting right across from us. I was like whaaaaaattttt. Kinda cool that he was just hanging out in the bar with a few of his friends, and it was almost like not many people recognized him because it wasn't like a ton of people were coming up and trying to talk to him. Cool for me tho because I'm a huge Tiger fan. So anyway we meet up with this TaylorMade contact and head over to this house party which is like 15 mins away. We roll up and there are maybe 30 people at the house and right away you can spot Sergio Garcia, Justin Rose, Dustin Johnson, Eduardo Molinari, Rory Sabattini. The rest of the party is the whos who of corporate TaylorMade. Pretty crazy. They had a bunch of food catered and open bar which was also awesome. We get to talk to each of the guys a little bit but most of them headed out pretty early. Sergio was a beast tho and stayed for like the entire party. I talked to him a bit and he told me that he played in the PCA last year but got knocked out on day 1. I was like are you going to play in any WSOP events and he was like "nah, scheduling isnt that great because its right in the middle of the summer around the US Open". I told him that was a nice problem to have. Unfortunately I have 0 pics because of how nice the party was, I don't think they would have appreciated me going around and being like "hey will you take a picture with me?". Come to think of it I didn't see anyone take a single picture the entire time. Some other happenings that night, we are standing kind of near the door and notice that there are all these Augusta flags sitting there that all the pros are signing. Rob sees one and is like I will take one of these out to my car, come back and then you will take one out to my car. Well the flag he took had Dustin Johnson, Rory Sabattini, and Martin Lairds signature. He comes back and I'm looking down at the flags now and he must of grabbed one of the last "crappy ones" because the rest of them had Billy Casper and Doug Ford, both past Masters champions, Ryan Palmer and a few other names we are still trying to decipher. So I took 2 of those out to the car and that will be hanging up in my office in the near future. We also watched our TaylorMade contact bomb a very informal interview in an attempt to be the on course commentator for a PGA tour tournament. Billy Andrade was there and he hosts a tournament and was trying to get this chick to do the commentating, but she totally bombed it and was trying to act like a hot shot before she even figured out it was Billy Andrade. Pretty good way to really brick a good opportunity. Well this is long as crap and has taken me forever to write up and whatnot. Hope anyone that made it this far enjoyed the stories/pics/videos. Have a good Masters week and let's go TIGER WOODS!
