Boom, just finished negotiating a deal yesterday for the house my wife and I are going to buy. Feels pretty good to be 99% of the way to being a homeowner, just need the loan to go through. We have been looking for a little over a month, and actually had our eyes set on another house but ended up not going with it mostly because of the immediate out of pocket expenses we would have to incur to get it ready. The house that we are going to go with has basically 0 need for immediate work which is a huge plus. It is also a bit cheaper and in a better location. Here is a pic.



So that is exciting. We just got back from buyin a refrigerator which is the only appliance that wasn't left in the home. If anyone reading this does a lot of home repair stuff, Lowes has a pretty good deal where you can buy a gift card and they will credit you 10% of the card value on March 18th. I think the most you can put on the gift card is $4000, but on March 18th they will credit the card with $400. Just throwing that out there in case anyone is interested.

On the poker front things are going pretty well. I started the month off on a nice heater, then went on a like 20k hand breakeven/losing streak. I think the downswing peaked at a little over 20 buy ins and actually brought me close to back to even for the month. Then HEATERRRRR. Heres a graph. This is basically from my lowest point last Tuesday where I was stuck like 9 buy ins maybe, but ended the day up like 3. And then the following day where I won the most buy ins ive ever won in a day with ~17.5 buy ins won.



So my month is back on track. I got a new 28" monitor at the end of last month that I have been 6-12 tabling on, so I'm getting a lot more hands in. I maybe be taking a small hit in winrate but when compared to how many hands I'm getting I think it's a little more +ev. When I start taking shots at 1knl+ games again I will for sure cut down on the # of tables I'm playing. I also just purchased the 5k bonus from the Black Card store, so that is nice.

For some more poker updates the one studen I'm working with on the most regular basis is crushing. We do a lesson once a week and he is having his best month ever at 100nl which is awesome. He's really improving quite a bit and hopefully will be jumping into 200nl before we know it. Here is a shot he sent me.



So yea things are going pretty well for me. I will be doing a 2 part 400nl video hopefully this week, so if anyone reading this has any specific requests for that video comment here or send me a PM.
