-$240; MTD (month to date) = +$124

I put in 559 hands. Yuck. I lost a 100bb pot to a runner runner. I lost a 20bb pot to a FH when i had a K high flush. Not much i could do about these as i was rivered on both.

Sucked I had to stop playing. There were so many fish at the tables on Fri night.

So I quit playing early and watched some baseball. I'll get back at it today.

NickStam's Blog

The goal of this blog is to simply record the ups and down of a month trying to grind out some profits. After having a losing month in September, I plan on slowing things downs and getting back to winning. I put in the most hands ever last month, generated the most rakeback ever, but lost a few thouasnd. I've created some rules this month to keep myself more disciplined and hopefully tilt free.

Rules for a profitable October:

  1. Win $100/day. I will be playing $100 and $200 6 max NLH.
  2. I will exercise a 1 BI stop loss if i'm playing poorly. 2 BI stop loss if lose because of a suckout.
  3. Once i hit my daily goal, i will play a MTT to keep myself busy the rest of the evening.
  4. Don't worry about qualifying for iron man (full tilt promotion) or generating a ton of rake!

Since this blog is starting on 10/5 I will post the results of the first 4 days:

October 1: +$82, October 2: +$141, October 3: +$23, October 4: +$116

As i type this i lost a huge pot. Gross.
