Playing ok and running hot

0

Yesterday evening I went on to play a few hands $50PLO and lost $5.80. There was one interesting hand, I'll post it here and post it later on the forum.

(Since I can't find any PLO handconverter that works with FTP I use pokerhand.org)

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1756745

I think I played the hand correctly but I'm not really sure but when he pushes I can never fold. I get 2.71:1 odds and against a set of aces I got 30% equity.

Today I played a 2 hour session. I ran pretty hot and got max value on most hands. Here are the result of today.

As you can see I didn't play very loose but when I play six table my PC is getting kinda slow after 20 min. of play and it's very annoying. I really hope my new desktop is coming soon. There were some interesting hands I want to show.

One very interesting hand which I want to start with:

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.comFlopTurnRiver.com (Format: Plain Text)

SB ($387.80)
BB ($112.75)
UTG ($56.50)
MP ($100)
CO ($111.10)
Hero ($99.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Th, 7h.
2 folds, Hero raises to $3.5, SB calls $3, 1 fold.

I raise on the button and SB calls. My thoughts about him, looking at his stats and stack size, are that he is a decent player. He probably calls a little too much.

Flop: ($8) Qd, 4h, 7c (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5.5, SB calls $5.50.

This is an ok flop. I´ll take it down most with a CB so that´s what I make. He check/calls my CB. He can have a very wide range here, he would've reraised me pre with AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK and probably AQ. So he can have 44, 77, maybe 88, 99, TT. Maybe 68s, 56s, 35s.

Turn: ($19) 6s (3 players)
SB bets $7, Hero raises to $19, SB calls $12.

Now here's the interesting part. A 6 comes off and he bets a very weak small bet into me. If he had a set he probably would've tried to check/raise me. The only hands that completes a hand here is 35 but would he bet that out when he hit I don't think so. Maybe he picked up something that isn´t really strong, he could play Q5s like this. So I choose to raise here to see where I´m at and for value if I´m ahead. It makes the hand very easy to play by showing aggression here. He could fold a very weird played weak Q when I show so much strenght and if he has a straight here he will probably reraise or call and bet the river for value wich makes it an easy fold for me.

River: ($57) 9c (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

If he has a Q he probably won´t fold it now he got so far and if he is so weak that he didn´t bet his straight he will call with it. So I check.

Final Pot: $57

Results below:
SB has 6h 5h (one pair, sixes).
MP doesn't show.
Hero has Th 7h (one pair, sevens).
Outcome: Hero wins $57.

Here is another nice hand that I played very well. Extracted the most value for sure!

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.comFlopTurnRiver.com (Format: Plain Text)

Button ($353.80)
SB ($99)
BB ($47.10)
UTG ($96.60)
MP ($136.70)
Hero ($131.70)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9s, 9h.
1 fold, MP calls $1, Hero raises to $4.5, 2 folds, BB calls $3.50, MP calls $3.50.
A very weak player limps. He plays 45/15. I got a very nice hand and obviously raise. He and the BB calls so I got position.

Flop: ($14) 8s, 9c, 8c (3 players)
BB checks, MP checks, Hero bets $9, BB folds, MP calls $9.

I flop a monster, the second nuts. Both players check and I bet. It's very important to bet here and build a pot, if somebody has an 8, flush draw or straight they probably call.

Turn: ($32) Qc (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $24, MP calls $24.

On the turn the perfect card hits.It completes a straight (JT) and the flush completes. The only hands that beat me are Q8, 88 and TJ of clubs. I obviously bet out and hope he got something.

River: ($80) 6h (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $94.2 (All-In), MP calls $94.20.

When he called my turn bet, he probably has a good hand since the board is real scary for a hand like TT. Here I overbet the pot since a player like him can never ever fold a flush draw, straight or even an 8 here.

Final Pot: $268.40

Results below:
MP has Jc 3c (flush, queen high).
Hero has 9s 9h (full house, nines full of eights).
Outcome: Hero wins $268.40.

For now I gotta go. I got a lot of stuff to do for school tommorow but hopefully I can find the time and put some hands in.
