$400NL starts off very good

February just started and I've already reached my goal for the month. Yesterday I kicked in a nice session of 1795 hands where I won $980 which made my roll a little over $12k. I took a short break and played 226 hands of $400NL where I made a $800 win.

Today I continued at $400NL, played 1155 hands and won $1011.95. I 'm starting to play a little more tables because I was mostly playing 4 at the time but saturday I played 8 at $200NL and today I ended up with 6 at $400NL. Alltogether I'm starting off with a very nice run this year. Here are my PT stats and the graph so far:

Besides the good run I'm not very satisfied with my overall game. I have improved it but there are still a couple of things that need to be fixed. But ok I'm working on it and still got a couple of months left to reach my goal. It feels very good that I started of so well, now I got a couple of extra months in case I hit some sick downswing.

In january I bought Holdem Manager. First I wasn't sure to buy it or wait for Poker Tracker 3 but then I read on the 2+2 forum that the HUD will be out in a couple of weeks. I figured for the $80 bucks I just buy HM, the HUD on it is super and it helps me a lot while playing. I must say the software in total wasn't really ready for release but I think it was still a smart move to sell it before PT3 is fully ready.
