Goal reached!!

Blog by : NB_Gambler

Ok not really updating the blog anymore. I'm just very busy and when I have time I just want to play hands, but today I reached my goal of 30k so just wanted to post altough nobody reads it anyway ;)

I'm still mostly playing 400NL and sometimes 600NL when I see a nice table. Also mostly when I'm playing there are only 3/4 tables of 600NL running. I'm moving some of my $$ to Stars now so I have a little more choose of games.

So a quick summary:

I started playing with $500 at the 1st of august 2007 and everytime when I had 30 buy-ins for the next limit I went up a limit. When I hit 25 buy-ins I dropped and rebuild. In january this year I set the goal to reach 1000NL in July, so that $30k in July 2008. Today on April 6th I already reached it :)

Although I'll still be playing 400NL and 600NL mostly I will play some 1000NL if I see a nice table. My goal for now is just to play well, keep the 4+ptbb/100 and keep playing and thinking about the game so I can beat the higher limits.

Keep it coming

Pff still running hot. Here's the graph for this year:

Mostly playing 400NL now. I started the year with $6k so I got a little over $2k to go so I can play 600NL. Maybe I take it a little slow and first keep on playing some 400NL because I only needed to win 15 buy-ins instead of 30 so the switch comes very quickly. I'm still not really comfortable at 400NL so far. But he what does it matter I got 5 months to go to reach my goal (which is 1000NL) and I'm already over half of 400NL and to get from 600NL to 1000NL is also just 20 buyins. So if I look at it in buyins I have a little over 5 months to win 25 buy-ins, well that must be doable. On the other hand there must be some downswing be lurking around the corner since I'm now running 5.68BB/100 over 40k hands, so I will be taking it easy and work some more on my game before moving up now.

For today I played 798 hands, ran 24.31BB/100 (ROFL, ship it!) and made $1,551. My WTSD was 29.57% and my W$@SD was 61.76%.

Here are the key hands for today:

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.comFlopTurnRiver.com (Format: Plain Text)

UTG ($400)
Hero ($404)
CO ($423.50)
Button ($192.80)
SB ($438.80)
BB ($400.70)

Preflop: Hero is MP with Qs, Qc.
1 fold, Hero raises to $14, CO calls $14, 1 fold, SB calls $12, BB calls $10.

I make a standard raise from MP and get 3 callers. Not too happy and decide to play the hand carefull.

Flop: ($56) 8d, 4s, 2s (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $40, CO calls $40, SB folds, BB folds.

Pretty ok flop for me. Blinds both check so I make a standard CB and get one caller. He plays 30/20/1.17 so far. I put him on a pocket pair or flush draw. Maybe he has a set.

Turn: ($136) 6d (2 players)
Hero bets $95, CO calls $95.

The flush didn't hit but it can hit some SC. If he has a set and he really should raise here so I make another good bet and he calls. Now I put him on 99 to JJ or a FD he can't lay down.

River: ($326) 9c (2 players)
Hero bets $255 (All-In), CO calls $255.

Ok this is a bad card for me. 99 just made a set, 98 of spades just made two pair. I'm still ahead of TT or JJ. The pot is now so big, if I check here I have to call any river bet imo since I the pot will be 581 and I have to call 255 so I only have to be right 43%. But he will probably check behind with JJ/TT so I just push it in and hope for the best.

Final Pot: $836

Results below:
Hero has Qs Qc (one pair, queens).
CO doesn't show.
Outcome: Hero wins $836.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.comFlopTurnRiver.com (Format: Plain Text)

CO ($474.25)
Hero ($402.40)
SB ($412)
BB ($436.10)
UTG ($341.80)
MP ($421)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Qc, As.
1 fold, MP raises to $12, CO calls $12, Hero raises to $55, 2 folds, MP folds, CO calls $43.

There is a raise and a cold call and I find AQo on the button. MP is 40/23/1.2 over 65 so I'm clearly far ahead of both there range and make a pot size raise. MP folds and CO calls, I put him on a pocket pair and some suited big cards. I was pretty active and my raise really looks like a squeeze, so I think he was calling me pretty light here.

Flop: ($128) 6h, Ad, 4d (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $95, CO raises to $419.25 (All-In), Hero calls $252.40 (All-In).

This is a good flop for me, only a set beats me. I make a standard CB and he comes over the top. Here I just snap called because I really thought he was making a move on me. You almost never see someone do this with a set, if he has a set here good for him, he called a big reraise with a small pocket pair being oop and if he does this I'll instant fold any worse hand then this so that isn't very profitable for him.

Turn: ($822.80) 7h (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: ($822.80) 2c (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $894.65

Results below:
CO has Kd Jd (high card, ace).
Hero has Qc As (one pair, aces).
Outcome: Hero wins $822.80.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (5 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.comFlopTurnRiver.com (Format: Plain Text)

SB ($687.90)
BB ($559.70)
Hero ($578.20)
MP ($56)
Button ($501.70)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Td, Ts.
Hero raises to $14, 1 fold, Button calls $14, 2 folds.

I raise UTG and a huge calling station donk calls my raise. I've seen him call with a lot so I'm planning to take him to valuetown.

Flop: ($34) 9h, 9d, 2s (2 players)
Hero bets $28, Button calls $28.

Perfect flop. He'll call down any pocket pair, calls with over etc. I make a good bet here.

Turn: ($90) 4h (2 players)
Hero bets $60, Button calls $60.

He calls as espected and I bet again. I should probably have made this a little bigger but on the other hand I've seen him fold to pot-size bets and not smaller ones.

River: ($210) Kc (2 players)
Hero bets $100, Button raises to $399.7 (All-In), Hero folds.

This is a bad card for me since if I was bluffing in his eyes I could easily have hit this. In hope he still calls I make 1/2 pot bet. Now he instantly comes over the top. He was very passive so I either has a 9 here or a full house.

Final Pot: $410

Results below:
Button doesn't show.
Outcome: Button wins $709.70.

$400NL starts off very good

Blog by : NB_Gambler
0

February just started and I've already reached my goal for the month. Yesterday I kicked in a nice session of 1795 hands where I won $980 which made my roll a little over $12k. I took a short break and played 226 hands of $400NL where I made a $800 win.

Today I continued at $400NL, played 1155 hands and won $1011.95. I 'm starting to play a little more tables because I was mostly playing 4 at the time but saturday I played 8 at $200NL and today I ended up with 6 at $400NL. Alltogether I'm starting off with a very nice run this year. Here are my PT stats and the graph so far:

Besides the good run I'm not very satisfied with my overall game. I have improved it but there are still a couple of things that need to be fixed. But ok I'm working on it and still got a couple of months left to reach my goal. It feels very good that I started of so well, now I got a couple of extra months in case I hit some sick downswing.

In january I bought Holdem Manager. First I wasn't sure to buy it or wait for Poker Tracker 3 but then I read on the 2+2 forum that the HUD will be out in a couple of weeks. I figured for the $80 bucks I just buy HM, the HUD on it is super and it helps me a lot while playing. I must say the software in total wasn't really ready for release but I think it was still a smart move to sell it before PT3 is fully ready.

Reached my goal for this month already

Blog by : NB_Gambler
0

I just wrote almost a whole page and wanted to edit a picture, was asked to open the pop-up and when I clicked it reloaded the writing is gone :(

But ok, of we go again. We finnaly got a very cool doggy! Her name is Lady and she's about 1.3 years old. She's very cool and friendly but just a little scared sometimes. We got her through an organisation that recues dogs mostly from Gran Canaria. Here is a picture of her:

and another :)

Now let's talk poker a bit.

I'm running pretty dran hot! 8.39BB/100 over the 13.7K hands this month. 10.4k at NL200 with 7.61BB/100 and 3.2k at NL100 for 10.81BB/100. With a total result of $3,893.72! My goal for the month was $3k so that's a good thing. I also got a $275 end-year bonus from FTP and around $500 in rakeback. So hopefully things will be going well the rest of the month and I can take a nice start into my challenge to reach NL1000 by the end of july.

For some weird reason it isn't showing the stats picture correct so here is the link:

http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/9521/ptresultsjan01till1508ym0.jpg

Now for some hands I played today. I'll start with the 2 big ones I won.

Bluff catching

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1943321

I was pretty active at the table and his limp/minreraise scared me a bit at first but I obviously have to call the minreraise pre-flop.

Now on the flop he bets pot super quick and the board isn't that scary. Now someone who wants to trap me by limp/reraising and then pots it super quick like he's trying to scare me. I think for a sec and decide to call and re-evaluate the turn.

Now on the turn he makes a super overbet. Now I have never ever seen someone limp/reraise, pot the flop and pushes the turn w/ a huge overbet on such a board with AA, KK etc. And why would he try to trap me pre-flop (that's what donks try the do this way most of the time) and scare me off on a J high flop? So I put him on a hand like AK/AQ/ or just a pissed trash hand and call. Tadaaaa AK

Standard AA hand

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1943730

I get 4-bet preflop, she/he is 33.3/28.5/5 over 19 hands or so. So pretty aggro and loose. I'm pretty lag also so I decided to just call the 4-bet instead of push, esp. with the small 4-bet. If she has a weak hand and tries to get me off of my (maybe in her eyes bluff) 3-bet I probably can get some value, and a hand like TT will fold to a push maybe. I plan to c/r the flop.

Perfect flop for me against a villian with a weakish pair and I get all the money in. I decided not to c/c, c/c because she/he can never fold for the $55 in $342 pot without a pure bluff.

What can you do against a lucky donk

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1943781

Villain = 55/24/0.82

Standard pre-flop

I raise the flop in case he has a draw he's paying and he'll never fold any overpair so let's get it in sir.

Turn, well how can I fold to his raise. I'm prob beat but what the hell.

Showdown is just sick, added to my buddylist. How can you hate the guy, easy money!

Small loss, calling with A high getting 6.6 to 1

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1943805

Villian = 60.8/8.7/0.56 over 46

Pre-flop standard, Isolate the fish with a good hand in position.

Perfect flop to continuation bet on. The c/c can mean anything. A paired King, a FD, Ace high, small pocket pair, most of the time.

I check the turn behind because it's likely I still have the best hand and he isn't folding a flushdraw or A high probably.

On the river he bets $10 into a $56 pot. I think I'll see a bluff here enough to call with ace high getting 6.6 to 1.

It went awfull but going ok now

Blog by : NB_Gambler

I was sort of strugling at the start of NL200, just playing poor and I tried a lot opening my game wich cost me some.

I ended december with -$133.50 over 35k hands, wich is a very bad result even with the bad run I took. I just tilted a lot of my roll and wasn't playing well, also the 8-tabling wasn't really helpfull. I also played some limit where I ended with a small loss, at the 6-max NL I ended with a 0.53BB/100 so better then nothing. I really don't give much about the end result since I learned a lot wich was really needed. Also when I started I had some trouble with the other regs but now I think I'm way ahead of most of them.

In Januari it started out as bad as it did at the end of December with some run of beats but now I´m running hot again for the last 3 days and now have a $1783 profit for the month so far. Playing 20/17.6/5.5 and played 11k hands. I did some thinking about the goal I set wich was playing NL1000 in the end of July. If I want to reach it I got 2 months for every limit and then I have one month left, so if I run into some trouble I got some buffer.

For every limit I have to earn 30 buyins wich is 3000BB. This is 1500PTBB, so I have to make 750PTBB per month. Let's say I run 2PTBB/100 and I play 4 tables per session. On average I play 106 hands per hour, so let's say 100. In this case I make 8PTBB per hour. So I have to play 93.75 hour or 37.5k hands, which is easily doable. Offcourse I hope to run a little better than 2PTBB/100.

I hope to post some hands tommorow and go a little deeper in what I've done these last couple of days.

Finally posting again

Blog by : NB_Gambler

The busy time continued. Christmas is over and everything is getting into it's usual routine slowly again. Still looking out for new years eve offcourse.

My new desktop is up and running and as soon as I find the wire to connect my mobile to my desktop I'll put up some pics. I'm very pleased with it and playing is going a lot better with the 22" monitors and the CPU speed.

I did not do well in poker this month. I started off great and then I got beat after beat and started tilting a bit and did not play well. Finally the last couple off days everything got back as it should. I dropped down to NL100 again just for my own confedence after I got beaten at NL200. I also played some $5/$10 and got beat after beat and dropped 400 in like 300 hands or so. Here's the graph:

One plus is I did put in a lot more hands and my MT is now 4.5 so that's ok.

I'll start posting hands again and hope to get on a sick heater for 2008 :)

Very busy, so no poker

Blog by : NB_Gambler

I've been very very busy with school these days. I played two days ago and didn't play well since I was just to busy and I couldn't get any momentum. It looks like this will continue for a couple of days since I have another exam thursday evening and didn't look into it yet. And the weekend I'm out on a trip with my girlfriend and her parents.

When I got home I found a note in the mailbox saying they did come by to deliver my new desktop w/ the monitors but I wasn't home and they'll come back tommorow. So hopefully I can find some time to set the thing up before the weekend.

Playing ok and running hot

Blog by : NB_Gambler
0

Yesterday evening I went on to play a few hands $50PLO and lost $5.80. There was one interesting hand, I'll post it here and post it later on the forum.

(Since I can't find any PLO handconverter that works with FTP I use pokerhand.org)

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1756745

I think I played the hand correctly but I'm not really sure but when he pushes I can never fold. I get 2.71:1 odds and against a set of aces I got 30% equity.

Today I played a 2 hour session. I ran pretty hot and got max value on most hands. Here are the result of today.

As you can see I didn't play very loose but when I play six table my PC is getting kinda slow after 20 min. of play and it's very annoying. I really hope my new desktop is coming soon. There were some interesting hands I want to show.

One very interesting hand which I want to start with:

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.comFlopTurnRiver.com (Format: Plain Text)

SB ($387.80)
BB ($112.75)
UTG ($56.50)
MP ($100)
CO ($111.10)
Hero ($99.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Th, 7h.
2 folds, Hero raises to $3.5, SB calls $3, 1 fold.

I raise on the button and SB calls. My thoughts about him, looking at his stats and stack size, are that he is a decent player. He probably calls a little too much.

Flop: ($8) Qd, 4h, 7c (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5.5, SB calls $5.50.

This is an ok flop. I´ll take it down most with a CB so that´s what I make. He check/calls my CB. He can have a very wide range here, he would've reraised me pre with AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK and probably AQ. So he can have 44, 77, maybe 88, 99, TT. Maybe 68s, 56s, 35s.

Turn: ($19) 6s (3 players)
SB bets $7, Hero raises to $19, SB calls $12.

Now here's the interesting part. A 6 comes off and he bets a very weak small bet into me. If he had a set he probably would've tried to check/raise me. The only hands that completes a hand here is 35 but would he bet that out when he hit I don't think so. Maybe he picked up something that isn´t really strong, he could play Q5s like this. So I choose to raise here to see where I´m at and for value if I´m ahead. It makes the hand very easy to play by showing aggression here. He could fold a very weird played weak Q when I show so much strenght and if he has a straight here he will probably reraise or call and bet the river for value wich makes it an easy fold for me.

River: ($57) 9c (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

If he has a Q he probably won´t fold it now he got so far and if he is so weak that he didn´t bet his straight he will call with it. So I check.

Final Pot: $57

Results below:
SB has 6h 5h (one pair, sixes).
MP doesn't show.
Hero has Th 7h (one pair, sevens).
Outcome: Hero wins $57.

Here is another nice hand that I played very well. Extracted the most value for sure!

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.comFlopTurnRiver.com (Format: Plain Text)

Button ($353.80)
SB ($99)
BB ($47.10)
UTG ($96.60)
MP ($136.70)
Hero ($131.70)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9s, 9h.
1 fold, MP calls $1, Hero raises to $4.5, 2 folds, BB calls $3.50, MP calls $3.50.
A very weak player limps. He plays 45/15. I got a very nice hand and obviously raise. He and the BB calls so I got position.

Flop: ($14) 8s, 9c, 8c (3 players)
BB checks, MP checks, Hero bets $9, BB folds, MP calls $9.

I flop a monster, the second nuts. Both players check and I bet. It's very important to bet here and build a pot, if somebody has an 8, flush draw or straight they probably call.

Turn: ($32) Qc (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $24, MP calls $24.

On the turn the perfect card hits.It completes a straight (JT) and the flush completes. The only hands that beat me are Q8, 88 and TJ of clubs. I obviously bet out and hope he got something.

River: ($80) 6h (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $94.2 (All-In), MP calls $94.20.

When he called my turn bet, he probably has a good hand since the board is real scary for a hand like TT. Here I overbet the pot since a player like him can never ever fold a flush draw, straight or even an 8 here.

Final Pot: $268.40

Results below:
MP has Jc 3c (flush, queen high).
Hero has 9s 9h (full house, nines full of eights).
Outcome: Hero wins $268.40.

For now I gotta go. I got a lot of stuff to do for school tommorow but hopefully I can find the time and put some hands in.

First session to post and a nice profit

Blog by : NB_Gambler
0

I just put in a nice session of an hour. I said I wanted to play longer per day but being so busy with school. It's very nice I still could put in some hands today. I opened 6 tables, played pretty well and made $304.30.

As you can see I opened more hands. Getting my VPIP, Att. to Steal and PF raise a little up. There weren't so many though decisions. There where two hands against the same villain where I played a big pot and I had to think about what to do. In the one hand my read was perfect in the other I should have checked the turn.

Here is the hand I saw him overplay early in the session.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (5 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.comFlopTurnRiver.com (Format: Plain Text)

UTG ($156.90)
MP ($110)
Button ($283.10)
Hero ($105.50)
BB ($130.85)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Ad, 7s.
1 fold, MP raises to $3.5, Button calls $3.50, 1 fold, BB raises to $19, MP folds, Button raises to $286.6 (All-In), BB calls $112.85 (All-In).

He clearly thinks BB is making a squeeze play here, why else would he just call and then come over the top with a good but not very strong holding like AJo. Sqeeuze plays don't happen so often on NL100 it's a much better option to just let go, especially AJo. If someone is really bullying you by those kind of plays I rather push with a pocket pair, maybe a suited ace but the read has to be very very strong to make this play.

Flop: ($267.70) 6d, Kd, 4s (2 players, 2 all-in)

Turn: ($267.70) 4c (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: ($267.70) 7d (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $267.70

Results below:
BB has As Ah (two pair, aces and fours)
Button has Ac Jd (one pair, fours).
Outcome: Button wins $422.45.

The one I stacked him.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.comFlopTurnRiver.com (Format: Plain Text)

CO ($108.10)
Button ($98.50)
SB ($91.55)
BB ($167.80)
Hero ($106.65)
MP ($243.70)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Js, Jh.
Hero raises to $3.5, 4 folds, BB calls $2.50.

I raise JJ UTG and villian (who prob overplays hands and thinks people are making moves and bluffs) calls

Flop: ($7.50) 4s, 2h, 4d (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $5.5, BB raises to $15.5, Hero raises to $35.5, BB raises to $179.8 (All-In), Hero calls $73.15 (All-In).

A perfect flop for me. Villain checks and I bet. I get checkraised by villian on a superdry flop. He can have lots of hands here and probably will bluff a lot of the time, thinking I just make a move. The hands that beat me are AA, KK, QQ, 22 and any 4 but that hands that I beat are 33, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99, TT. Against a lot of opponents I'll make a reraise to see were I'm at but against this one I raise so he will push and that's what he does.

Turn: ($224.80) 8d (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: ($224.80) Th (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $224.80

Results below:
BB has Ah 7h (one pair, fours).
Hero has Js Jh (two pair, jacks and fours).
Outcome: Hero wins $224.80. BB wins $71.15.

Here's the hand I misplayed against villian. I obviously should have checked the turn.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (4 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.comFlopTurnRiver.com (Format: Plain Text)

Hero ($151.70)
SB ($509.55)
BB ($129)
UTG ($199.30)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8s, Ts.
UTG raises to $3.5, Hero calls $3.50, 2 folds.

Since he's such an idiot and we're 150BB deep I call with T8s in position.
I think (especially being this deep) you need to make these calls now and then to stay deceptive.

Flop: ($8.50) 9h, Qh, 6s (2 players)
UTG bets $6, Hero calls $6.

I flop a dubble gutter and a backdoor flushdraw. Since he is the man that thinks I make a move when I raise I just call, hoping to hit my straight or pick up a flushdraw.

Turn: ($20.50) 9d (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $16, UTG calls $16.

I do not hit my straight but the board pairs and he checks to me. Now I really think I had to check this one behind. I he check/raises me I gotta fold and he could easily have something and I think he wouldn't even fold a gutshot just to try and screw me.

River: ($52.50) 7c (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $38, UTG calls $38.

Now I hit my straight and make a 3/4 bet. When he just called the turn and checked the river he probably doesn't have a full house or a 9 as the 7 isn't that scary. I figured he would call 3/4 pot w/ JJ or TT. Looking at the results I probably could have got a little more value but I can't be result orientated.

Final Pot: $128.50

Results below:
UTG has Qd Js (two pair, queens and nines).
Hero has 8s Ts (straight, ten high).
Outcome: Hero wins $128.50.

An example of how not to play!

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: Other UBB Forum)

SB ($101.10)
BB ($95.70)
UTG ($109.45)
MP ($100)
Hero ($215.20)
Button ($236.80)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 4d, 4c.
UTG calls $1, [color:#666666]1 fold, [color:#CC3333]Hero raises to $4.5, [color:#666666]3 folds, [color:#CC3333]UTG raises to $13, Hero calls $7.50.

A 30/13.9/5/151 limps UTG. I find 44 in the CO and raise him, this is a standard raise. Maybe we pick up the pot here or when UTG calls and we miss a CB will take it down a lot of the time since we showed aggression pre-flop. Now UTG makes a very small reraise. This is a very weak and transparent play, most of the time these players have AA or KK. I elect to call since I will probably take his stack when I hit my set.

Flop: ($26.50) Js, Td, 8s [color:#0000FF](2 players)
[color:#CC3333]UTG bets $97.45 (All-In), Hero folds.

I do not flop a set and UTG immediatly pushes his stack. OMG what a donk, I love it.
Even if he's bluffing with AK here his equity is very high so I can never call this without a set.

Some reading and thinking

I started reading Cole's old blog (cts687.livejournal.com). I must say it gives me a real good inside on how he worked his way up. One thing I noticed is he played a lot, and I mean a whole lot of hands. If I look at the hands I played and his, there is a very big difference. I played near 50k hands in 3 months and he played 90k just in may 2006, now that's a shit load of hands in one month. He 8-tabled like every session, having a MT Ratio of 6.23 for the month may. In the first two months I played 4 tables at most and a lot of the time just 2. For the moment I play 5 or 6 tables per session. I got a 19" monitor and my laptop screen, when playing 8 tables on those screens I can't follow the action enough. Hopefully I'll get my new desktop soon with the 2x 22" and then I'll try to 8-table again. I also want to spent more time playing, watching a vid or reading the forums is good for your game and makes you think about situation, but the best training is still playing by yourself. At the moment my average of play is like an hour per day and that really needs to go up as well if I want to reach my goal on time.

So for the moment the things I want to work on are:

- play more hours per month
- always play 6+ tables per session
- play a little looser (esp. on the button) raising and calling more (let's say a total VPIP of just above 20)

About playing looser I noticed a started to play more hands the higher the limit. Very obvious I think because more players fold in early position and stealing the blinds is more effective. On the other hand I think by myself, the players are a lot worse and I should be playing more hands since my postflop play is a lot better so I make better decisions hence I'm making money. When my opponents make more mistakes then I'm I will make money.

For today I got some things to work on for school that has to be finished today. Hopefully this will be done soon so go can still play a session today.
