Thought that that was a pretty accurate title for this entry as I've been examining my results since my killer January. I don't feel like I've been playing particularly well lately when it comes to making reads and additionally when following through on those reads. This is probably the most important thing for me is to be following through on my reads as when I don't do that, nothing really works correctly about my game.

It's pretty well known at this point the extent to which variance can effect your results despite being even a relatively big winner for the games you play. Personally I feel like I'm always coming up short when estimating the actual effects variance is capable of taking. Who knows if I'll ever learn to fully appreciate that fact and make better adjustments for it, but that doesn't mean that you guys who follow this blog can't learn from my experiences.

Additionally, I'm very curious as to why so few people have contacted me and followed through on picking up lessons from me. Lessons that I am practically giving away at $75/hr. I doubt it will remain at that price for long, but maybe some of you can explain to me in the comments what is deterring you from jumping on this. Honestly I'm baffled as I doubt there is anyone who is having the kind of success I have had up through 5/10 and 10/20 would ever charge this little. Especially with the kinds of reviews I've received in the past. I do think an hour of my time is probably worth ~250/hr coaching. It's certainly worth more than that playing.

Anyways like I said I have been struggling lately, and I just feel really frustrated about it which makes me not want to play very much as I feel I should be on pace for making a quarter million this year but just have run basically like death. Gotta keep pluggin away though, 100k hands just isn't enough for 3 months I guess.
