I hit a wall yesterday while playing where I couldnt win a hand it seemed. I decided to try to play out of it if i could seeing as I didnt feel tilted. Long day, but heres the results:

Oh and BTW guys, look for me on FTP at table "MDoranD". I've been playing a little bit there each day just because well, its pretty damn cool to have a table named for me. Come play if you want and we will all learn and get better.

That's right! I'll be doing another contest where the winner gets a leakfinder vid done by me and produced by CR. Responses and views from the first vid we did for Part 1 winner CR member "Teamwillow" was a good success, so we are bringing it back and hopefully doing them more frequently to help our small stakes CR members!

Qualifications are just as before and just as easy! If you are a CR member and your regular game is 50nl 6 max or below and you are interested, simply (1)post in this thread linked HERE : that you would like to be entered into the drawing, and (2) also make sure you post at least one hand in the micro forum (during the qualification period) here on CR that you would like some feedback on. That's it!

The entry period is from RIGHT NOW till November 30th 2010 @ 11:59 PM EST.

As an extra bonus for this vid, if the winner has HEM and wants me to review their recent database as part of the Leakfinder, then I will have them ship me their hands and add that into it. Either way it should be really good IMO.

OK so a couple hours of free time a week have opened up for me, and I'd like to take on an additional student (or possibly two)! Once I've received your PM, I will send you all the details as far as structure, cost, and anything else fitting.

By the way, the Leakfinder video for my contest winner (Teamwillow) has been completed and will be out just as soon as CR produces it and finds an open slot. The 50nl and below forum has really picked up in activity the last couple weeks and Im glad to see people are taking advantage of the strategy being posted in there daily.

Oh yeah and lastly, I've promised myself Im going to start updating this blog more regularly, with things poker and even some things non-poker. I've got some ideas/thoughts I'd like to express and this place is as good as any to do that. Alright, that's it guys, later!

OK so i know many of you just opened this for the zesty low-cal chicken recipe, but heres a real quick poker and poker coaching update to build an appetite on.

My last 150k hands of 50nl 6 max. Not very happy with the last 50k hands or so, but w/e:





Also I wanted to give a couple shots out to a couple students of mine who have been doing well at microstakes.

Lucas is a player from Poland who despite poor internet (lol just kidding man) is crushing 10nl like no ones business over a 34k hand sample:

ok ok without further ado, the chicken recipe:

Zesty Herb Grilled Chicken



Makes 6 servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Refrigerate Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

1 package McCormick Grill Mates Zesty Herb Marinade
1/3 cup water
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 pounds bone-in chicken parts

Directions

1. Mix Marinade mix, water, oil, and vinegar in small bowl. Place chicken in large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add marinade, turn to coat well.

2. Refrigerate 30 minutes or longer for extra flavor. Remove chicken from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade.

3. Grill over medium heat with lid closed 30 to 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through, turning frequently.

Im mildly upset about the 13 buyin downswing that took 20k hands to get out of and what it did to my winrate; but overall im pretty happy with the results. Comes out to something like 6ish bb/100 or 3 ptbb/100.
