One simple law, and the budget will get balanced.

If during your term in office the federal budget is not in balance, you are not eligible to run for re-election.

Final Table Rush Tournament

Blog by : Lakeside

Didn't win it, but made the final table.

It was a Trubo Double stack tourney with about 600 players. Best part from strat to finish the tournament lasted 2 hours and 15 minutes.

I know this is a brag, but hyped up right now, this feeling of going deep is what makes poker great.

Scavenger Hunt

Scavenger Hunt
I'm putting together a list of items that I plan to challenge my brother on a scavenger hunt.
Any suggestions.
So far:
1). Find someone named Billy Bob eating chicken.
2). Get a picture of a car on blocks with 3 dogs in the yard.
3). Get a picture of a married couple where the wife is a foot taller than the husband.
4). Talk five unknown people into sending a birthday card to my brother.
5). Get a congressman to autograph the 9th amendment.
6). Interview a sewer inspector of a small town. Ask him if he is tired of taking people's crap.
7). Play a live poker game, smile and chuckle every time I have a big hand. Win at least one pot where you laugh all the way to the river.

8). Get a Mcdonald's person to say have a McGreat Day.

Can anyone answer why it cost 3 times more per person then 10 years ago?

Warning Whinning Ahead

Blog by : Lakeside
0

So far in March I have played 5000 hands in the first 4 days. And Six times I have had KK and villian shows pocket Aces. Here are the five I lost (One time I hit a set and won). One of them was even 3-way and two of us had pocket kings. The odds of this happening have to be unreal,

Just want to share.

I'm back

Blog by : Lakeside
0

My last 2 post you will see that I went bust, broke, ka-put.

I blame it on poor bankroll management. I know I've been told the rules many times, but I obviously have a learning disability. Must remember to properly manage my bankroll.

Anyway I used some full-tilt points bought into a $5 tourney with 34,000 players. Made the final table. Unreal.

I now have a bankroll once again. Time to hit the tables.

hmmmmm, there is something I'm suppose to remember. Oh well, I'll think about it later.

A very small chance

Blog by : Lakeside

In my last post, I was busted. Anyway I decided to use some of my points and buy into the $1 rebuy. I ended up rebuying twice for a total of 600 points. But made it into the money and picked up a few dollars. I also played some satellites (160 points) and won an entry into the miniFTOPS warmup.

So I guess, I'll try to nurse this into a small bankroll.

Busted

Blog by : Lakeside
0

It's been a long run, I started playing at Pacific Poker back in 2003.

I deposited $100 and never had to deposit another cent. We had Neteller back then and could easily move money from one site to another.

I played mostly Limit Cash games and NL tournaments. At my peak I was playing $5/10 Limit and $20 Sit-n-Go's and up to $50 MTT. With some shots at higher levels.

It hard to believe how soft the games were, my biggest mistake was not moving up in stakes as my bankroll built.

My highlights.

I have had 19 1st places in MTT.

Me and a buddy each put up a $100, and grinded out tourneys, till we had enough to pay for a trip to the WSOP. We got tried of the grind when we had around 5K so we only played the $1000 NL buy-in event. 2800 players, he got cold decked and was out early. I made it just into the money, so I do have a WSOP cash.

So anyway, great ride, made some extra pocket money. I always said if I busted I would not deposited.

If I get the itch, maybe I'll play a freeroll, or use my points to play.

Good Luck all.
