300 Hours In One Month

Okay, so time for me to activate in here at cardrunners. After first entry has been a tons of stuff going on; I have moved on my own, quitted school and started it again, moved from HU to 5-max/6-max and also stakes has changed. There´s way too much stuff to wrote about so I will tell only about some of past milestones.

In July I moved on my own and didn´t play pretty much at all. In August I started to play HU at $.5/1 and got sick upswing. I think I won like 100+ BI´s, which was pretty insane for me who had played before that only $.25/.5 games. Anyways, August I got amazingly lazy. I really didn´t do anything else then drink but after that realized how much living really costs and how less I actually have money left. So obviously I got in panic and started to grind. Only problem was that I didn´t win anything... Actually I did lost... A lot. I was really close to go broke. At the time I was like super confused and I pretty much just did cry all day long.

Luckily, just before I was about to go to find a job I won a donkament. I won a little over $6k of it. After that games has been going super good. I have been playing on average of over 40k hands in month(by 4 tabling) and every of those have been 5 figures.

And now to the most intresting part of this post; Subject: "300 Hours In One Month". So like week ago I got an idea of testing my limits, testing how much I actually could play in month. First I was thinking 250 hours but no-one wanted to make a bet about it and it didn´t even sound that extreme for my ears. So after thinking like about 5 seconds I suggested to one of my online friends that would he make a bet if I would try to play 300 hours. Well, it propably didn´t take even as that long from him to accept. So here I am, third day going, 25 hours behind and 2k up. Right now I have a break going because I was an moron and drank like 10 energy drinks and now my hands are shaking and eyes rolling everywhere.

But yeap, my friend is now coming to stop by so I have to quit entry here. But stay tuned and u will get entertained of me going mental breakdown. :)

First entry

I´m starting to keep blog here at cardrunners mostly because I want to learn language. I have kept blog before with my native language but for some reasons I dont want to do it anymore. So by moving it here I kinda get two birds with one stone. :) But like I said I´m learning english so sry if it doesn´t go well at the start.

I am 18 years old and studying last year at college. My life aint too exciting so I propably dont talk too much about it. But for some backrounds I can tell that my favorite hobbys are snowboarding and Tennis(which I have had some break for a while). Snowboarding is propably the most important thing for me these days which is why I´m moving to one ski center for a next winter(live in trailer). I am planning to finish college over internet so it makes possible to move in the middle of nowhere for a winter. At the same time it obv gives a lot of time to focus on poker(which is great).

And then to the poker. I have played poker serious only for a couple of months but it has started a quite well. My main game is NLHU but I play some 6-max too. Strongest game is def heads up. It´s the same old story: when I´m at HU-table it feels like I´m excatly where I belong to. Even so I have played recently more 6-max than HU. That´s because I have wanted to improve my 6-max game. I have a coach for that but I don´t talk more about that because I want that I can stay anonymous for everyone who knows me IRL(obv I´m no-one but still so because my IRL friends are active at poker-forums).

Here is some stats time after I bought my new computer. Also here misses some hands because I have played also at networks that pt3 doesn´t support. But still stats gives some idea for my games situation.

I have had some swings recently but that obv is the relevant part of HU poker.

Okay, I think here was about all I wanted to say in my first entry. I am going to update this regularly and in future I put some efforts on HH analysis also which hopefully helps me to improve my game.
