I have been playing a lot of backgammon online this week , made 325 bucks , it's just funny how the swings of the game don't bother at all in bg and how the variance in poker tilt the heck out of me... If i was as patient and disciplined in poker i wouldn't be such a busto robot. MAybe some day....

..... not playing poker though , just collected a bunch of unpaid bills for my boss. not gonna see a dime of it lol.

i haven't played since my last blog entry, i'm just really busy with my job and i don't have the energy to play when i get back to my house at night. MAybe i'll play a little bit this week end.

so i'm back playing on full tilt these days , i decided to play exclusively the horse 0.5/1$ and the 5$ NLH 6 handed sit and go. I was up 50 bucks two days ago with 95% of the profit coming from the horse games. I'm okay at LHE and Omaha 8, i'm really spewy at razz, put i'm a pretty decent stud player so both stud games make up for a lot of my profit. I was up 27$ yesterday in the horse games. But i was just running sick bad at the sit and goes, taking the most ridiculous beats aginst horrible players. Out of the twenty sit and goes i played i think i cashed in only 4 of them and didn't win a single one. The last beat i took put me on monkey tilt. 3 handed i shove the button with AA (i have been playing real tight) , sb insta calls with 10 9o and hit a runner runner nine high flush.I was just steaming , after taking these kinds of beats for2 hours straight. What do i do when i'm steaming? Hu omaha severely underolled. That's my game of choice.I have busted so many accounts doing it it's not even funny. On the plus side i ran like god for an hour and was up like 3.5 Bi. On the minus side my opponent was really solid and played pretty well since i pretty much outflopped him every single hand. Against a spewy tilting player i would have been up a gazzilion. so yeah i din't bust my account but still can't handle a losing sess. DOn't really know what to do about it. Oh well back to work.

so i hit the tables today for the first time since my downswings and things went bad , i dropped 4BI on two of the biggest set up hands i have experienced , first one i have 42 o , button limps , sb limps , i check , flops comes A 3 10 2spades, sb checks , i check, button bet 10c , sb call i call , turn is a 5 of heart sb checks, i pot it , button calls , sb raises 4x , i shove for 150bb , button calls , sb calls , i have the nut straight , button a5 off , sb 55. river is 10. and the sb racks in a 350bb pots. Two hands later i raise j9s in the co , button calls , bb calls flops comes Q 10 8 two diamonds. bb checks , i bet 3/4 pot , button raise 3X , bb shoves , i call , button calls. BB has the nut flush draw , button has QQ. turn q. GG me , then i lost two flush against flush hands and decided to quit after that. I closed my account wich had 221 bucks left on it. I'm officialy retired from playing poker , for how long we'll see...

After last week debacle i have to admit that my biggest mistake was to not quite the session when i was down 3 or 4 BI. My two biggest leaks have always been money management and the ability to take a losing session. I hate losing, I just can't handle being down on a given day and looking at my track record i guess i'd rather bust my roll than taking a losing session (yeah i know it doesn't make any sense). I 've tried again and again to come back to the game with a positive attitude but i keep on doing the same mistakes over and over. You can't win at poker if you don't know how to lose. At best 60 to 65% of my sessions are gonna be winning sesssions I know it but as soon as i hit a rough one i just can't quit , i play and play , i don't want to quit until i'm even, i tilt and i just destroy my bankroll everytime. As of today i have 260 bucks left on Hollywood but i'm really wondering if I should just get the money back. I certainly don't feel like playing right now since nothing as changed since last week and i don't think i would handle loosing better than i did last week.

just ran sick bad the last two days at the plo tables i'm down around 15BI at the 25c tables. HAlf of my roll is gone. I won't bother to post as most of them are either coolers, lost coin flips and bad beats nothing really interesting. I'm gonna take a break and see if i still feel like playing in a week or so.

i had another quick plo session this morning , and what a change from nlh. After 10k hands of playing nlh i'm up 60 bucks and it's a long and boring grind. I'm up 272 bucks over 1.5k hands in plo and i really feel like i play a decent game. I am able to put people on a pretty acurate range while playing while and it's smth i'm really struggling to do while playing nlh. I know when to bluff, when to call light , when to value bet.... I play a loose passive game preflop and i'm real aggro postflop just because most of the time i can put people on a pretty accurate range. I'll post some hands later on. Here are the pt result of today session. I also played in a 50 cents game cause i saw a big donator playing there but he busted out quickly and didn't contribute much.
