sup, its been a while since i've updated. i was playing casually, but within the past week i've gotten the drive to play again. 25nl is were im currently at. tryna mess around with different things to experiment different ways to beat 25nl. also re-building my br. the other day i 4-tabled 25nl with the intention of really getting into my opponents game and ripping through their flaws. i was actually playing very loose, maybe like 36-39/25-30 with a high aggression factor. it was alot of fun. i'll prolly switch off from doing that and 6-8 tabling. Man once i decided to play atleast a session a day, i played and WoW 25nl was sooooooo aggro. like right off the bat im gettin 3-4betted. it kinda felt like higher stakes. so i had to adjust and start 4-5 betting. i was doing a hell of alot of 4-betting. it was alot of fun, but took alot of concentraton. anyway just wanted to write in the blog and update whats new. aite peace

Man these are stats from past 2 sessions. i thought i could grind it out and be in the green each session but just kept getting worse and worse until i just gave up for the night. been pretty brutal. i havent felt like this since my first huge downswing at 10nl. its really crushing my spirits. i dont really know what do to? im not playing super aggro, ive tightened up a bit due the to way its been going, playing solid and still yuky results. im curious to see how long this is going to last. i try really hard not to let a game get the best of me. and i dont usually sweat a bad beat as much, but dammmmm im starting to feel the TILT. iono iono its all good. hopefully things will start to turn around.

i just watched verneer 2, where he talks about the advatages of having a loose image. as i was watching i was i play a similar or a little more aggro style than he played in that vid. i guess i can see how i get called down so light. i have been playing a good amount past few days, and it was a struggle cuz i would either lose or chip away a BI quick then grind out strong. i have ended up last few sessions in the green. it was tough to grind out, because it seemed like i was only gettin action on my big hands that had me. oh well some how seemed to work out. ive also noticed when im playing my reg style, players tend to make some weird plays against me that makes noooooo sense. i think that is good because it makes me think in different ways, and how to approach weird situations.

just because i have a loose image, doesnt mean i should be calling down so light, in my opinion its kinda spewy. i really want to work on that. also learn/experiment on how to extract value in different ways.

ROCKBAND:

i challenged brystmar to a drum battle and....i underestimated him, he absolutely destroyed me. hahaha not to make excuses but i've only had my xbox360 for about 2 weeks. lol that is an excuse haha. ima keep practicing and hopefully will beat him.

geeeeeeze i dont know what it is...people seem to float/call my 3bets light and seem to give me no credit. i havent been playing much within the past month so iono how people can lable me as a "maniac". recently i have been putting in some serious amount of hands and im not playing that aggro. i dont wanna get the image as a maniac, im trying to make some dough and im just grinding. im stuck and iono what to do? play tighter? i just see certain opportunites and i go with it. that maybe it be iono.

ive been noticing things about my game during my sessions:

im calling a lil more than i would like- its been a while since i was playing serious poker and i guess my senses are a little off, also i think my ego has gotten in the way to some calls. always thinking "he's just making a play on u" which is kinda spewy.

my style of play is very high variance- its like i can go up, then down, then up i needa work on keep on going up.....

comfortable- i can tell my comfort level at 50nl has gone way up. like when i first moved up to 50nl and i was very comfortable and confident at 25nl. thats how i feel about 50nl now.

how i am running- im not running extremely bad, but pretty bad. all i want is to run decent lol i sound like a lil bitch ahahahha

aite so today wasnt such a good day of poker. started off playing a few satilites to the FTOPS #1, played a 24+2, and i think 3 8.80 and coundnt get anything going. during the sngs/tourneys i played some cash games and got back what i spent on the satilites, which was alright. then decided to play another session tonight, and wow so up and down. towards the end of my session i was up about 1-2 BI which was a struggle to get. man getting called/raised almost every cbet and when i had a hand no action. its tough when u set something up and dont get paid off. BOOOOO. the last 2 hands that ended my session were i had flopped middle pair with open ended and got raised and decided to go with it and i was up against a str8 and could only tie and it didnt come thru. another one is we both flopped a flush draw and i raised and had to call his all in and both made a flush but his was higher. also had 3bet AK from the sb then got 4bet by bb then 5bet all in from original raiser, had to much and i was up against QQ and AA. ended up -2BI its not that bad but its pretty frustrating.

well cant really dwell on one day. just gotta be ready for the next session cuz everyday is a new day Ya DiG!!!!

man was a yuky session i just had at fr. man im not really tilted just irritated, i was running pretty ugly. i was up against maybe 4-6 sets and ONE time i sucked out for a bigger set hahah. i just wasnt feeling it tonight. iono dropped lil over one buy in total for today.

Earlier i was playing 6-max and it was decent but there was one play i wish i could take back. i had TT on the B with a CO limper and i raised pf and he called then check raised my near pot bet huge. at the time i thought he was getting annoyed and making a play ohhh board was 9Q4 2pades, i thought he could be raising me with 9's or a str8/ flush draw. and ive been pretty active in postion. i guess my ego got in the way, thinking everyone is making a play on me. so i shoved and he shows up with AA lol.

Full ring is fun but im playing like 12-16/10-13 ish i thought i could never play this tight, cuz when it comes to poker im just naturally aggressive. iono i think i'll keep playing a mix of both. i needa do some pt review tomarrow, to see how i can improve in my full ring game.

hahaha aite i played a session yesterday, and got straight up owned. running like complete garbage and couldnt win a hand, dropped 2 BI. thought today would a be a new day...and started off loosing, my set didnt fill up and lost to a str8. and i was all off and unfocused, amazing what no poker can do to you. but i thought i'd stick it out and see what happens.. it kinda turned around, ended the session about up about 1 1/2 BI nothing really special happened. but i missed playing poker. missed the feeling 3 barreling bluff into a read of a missed draw, missed the feeling making a huge call, in general i missed poker. im definitely guna be playing some serious poker. probably guna grind out 50nl for feb and hopefully move up to 100nl in march. i think i can do it. in this recent session it took some time to get my poker senses back into it, but it got there. starting to feel my game comeback.

Ohh did a sweat session today. a 25nl player and i have been talking for a bit, and i sweated him. he's decent just a lil too passive. gave some of my input on how i approach 25nl. i guess im a lil more aggressive than he is. but thats his game and im not one to judge. it was a short session got in a couple nice hands in. also looked at his pt stats and came to the conclusion for him to be more aggro, not maniac aggro but just more aggro in general. he wants to sweat me playing 25nl. set sum'n up. also been thinking about playing more full ring games. talked to a buddy who plays fr live and onlne and he says its pretty profitable. he told me he usually plays pretty tite fr, something like 12/7 and when he said that i was like 12/7 meaning december 7th? lol i was like man i dont think i can play that tite. well im always up for new ish and new challenges so we'll see what happens. prolly switch off sessions of 6man and fr. guna be changing it up in general. peace
