Haha okay, so I just played a 2 hr session right after waking up. Ended up winning QQ to JJ early on at a NL$400 6max table, and thinking to myself "wow, I'm gonna run hot." But I was wrong. I ran very meh, played a little poorly in a few hands, ended up getting stuck ~$2.5k. Came back to break exactly even. Earned a shitload of FTP points at least.
Here's the luckiest hand EVARRRR
http://www.pokerhand.org/?3425959
Some hands I lost at the live game, as suggested by readers of my blog:
I raise AA in MP to $15, dude who has been flatcalling me all night flatcalled (with ~$300 stack, I covered drastically), and shorty shoved for ~$125 total. I thought a bit and smoothcalled, and so did the coldcaller (yes, for ~1/3 of his stack). Flop K9Q. I check, overcaller checks. Turn comes an offsuit 7. I bet $45, he calls. River is an offsuit 5, I shove his last $75, he snapcalls and rolls over 68o. WP fish.
Another hand was shorty UTG open shoved for $45, I cc with AQ (I prob shoulda min-reraised. There were 2 other callers; one from MP and one from BB. Flop Q94, two spades. I 1/2 potted for $75, fold from MP, BB tanked and shoved. He has KsQx, turn K, river brick. Fuck life
Another hand (small though)- I opened MP with KK to $15, shorty shoved $120 total, I call. I turn over my hand to not slowroll him. Flop QTx. Turn T. River A. He acts disinterested until the end, then instantly flips over ATss and yells "SHIP IT!" Annoying...
An interesting hand vs my fraternity brother I was staking- effective stacks were ~$350. I raised UTG with 9Tdd, and 3 the guys behind me called, while everyone else folds. Flop QJ8, with the Q and J of diamonds. My friend open-shoves $100 into the pot (the pot was around $85 at this point), I tank and coldcall to try to get the guys behind me to spew with top pair or something and shove. He rolls over 88, I roll over the joint. Turn comes the 8d. He jumps up seeing he hit quads, but me and someone else quickly point out I have the straight flush. I actually got a pic taken of me at the game- Alex send that pick up on ur blog so I can save it on my comp and post it here!
So, the roll is @ $14.2k- I didn't say last night that I came home and won $3.1k at NL$400 6max, HU, and PLO because there were no interesting hands.
Today is going to suck, as I have a bunch of frat shit to do, but really only 2 more weeks to go until it's over!
