I looked at the hands, and they all look pretty fcking standard. When I hit the river ace, I'm valueshoving (on the 33xxx board where he ended up having quads). The 9T hand was a little thin, but he coulda been peeling that flop. I had the flush over flush twice, flopping bottom pair+ NFD and rivering trips (valueshoving there), trips over trips, and AQ and 77 AIPF vs AA and QQ after his barage of 4betting. Do I think I played badly? Hell no. I think I played remarkly well, especially with how badly I was running. If someone is 4betting you constantly pf, how can AQ and 77 not be ahead of their range most of the time? Nobody on CR who comments negatively sees the hands where I take it down preflop or anything, but rather are being results-oriented. Nobody knew the game dynamic but me and villain. I'd love to have a very strong player comment on my hands and tell me what they think. They'll most likely say a lot of the hands are standard, especially with a VERY aggro history (as I prefaced at the top of the last blog).
As I said, I'll be moving down to NL$200 6max till the end of the year. I'm tired of the variance, and the players are much better at NL$400 than at NL$200. While I'm pretty sure I can beat the game, it's soooo much more stressful at that limit than NL$200. Also, I still have not worked out my C game getting closer to my A game, and therefore I will need to be much more careful about my mood when I play NL$400 than NL$200. I'll stop playing HU for a bit until I can stabilize at 6max.
AceCR9 can comment on my blog all he wants, but it won't escape the fact that he's a lonely loser. He's the ONLY CR "pro" to have not made a video yet...after how long, 1 year? I've at least been featured in a video (playing Stinger HU at 2/4 PLO a while ago), and I'm not even a pro! On the 2+2 forums, I've seen a few threads where he's been bashed. He not only can be accepted by normal society, but also can't even be accepted by the people that do the same thing he does (play poker)! Ace, go ahead, say I'm not as good at poker as you, because I'm not. But you're still a loser and have few if any friends, and there's no way you can escape that. Your insecurity is clear, because you continuously read my blog, waiting by your computer for me to fail (which I clearly will every once in a while), so you can be there to say your superficial and retarded comment to fulfill your childish urges. You even asked my friend Alex if he will join you in Vegas, and you'll BUY him a bottle. LOLOL like he wants to be seen w/ a loser like u. Buy him a bottle? Jesus you're desperate for company.
Using_it, you play NL$200 FR, which a monkey can beat, so you don't have my respect. FR isn't poker.
Les, I appreciate your constructive criticism. While I know I can beat NL$400 6max, and HU if I game select over the long run, NL$400 is not worth it. I have too much stress with fraternity stuff and school to make poker such a huge priority (at least for now). I guess I coulda played a bit better, but once again, you weren't aware of the gameflow.
Burda, NeedAJoker is a big loser too, and just posts on my blog because he sweats BertKC's nuts. I'll play him or BertKC heads up if they arrange it. ESPECIALLY BertKC, actually. BertKC is prob busto so can't subscribe to CR nemore.
AAATonyKK, how is this playing ego? If I know I'm better than my opponents, I Keep playing...umm okay? Is there fault in my reasoning? "How would Brian Townsend play?" The problem with this question is that it's retarded. We have a clearly diff style (Brian doesn't even play NLHE nemore), and Brian would not know the gameflow. Only I can play optimally, since I have the most information and history on this player. Thats what HU is. Skill I would say is just as important as reads imo HU. "If the deck is stacked against you, it's 5% luck and 50% GET THE FUCK OUT OF THERE." Tony, I really don't think you're in the position to give me advice. You haven't even proven yourself a winner at the bottom of microstakes. You have an abysmal grasp on luck. Your attitude is to win 2 BI then drop down to "avoid bad beats." I'm going to have to disregard your comment. While you're mildy correct that when the deck is against you, I should quit, the way to offset the deck being against you is to play more hands (for variance to even out). There's a lot of days when I'll quickly run badly and drop 2-3BI, then come back and win 6BI that day. If I had snapquit after losing 2 BI, I never woulda became unstuck. Being a poker player is taking the good with the bad. I shoulda quit sooner, but quitting after losing a tiny amount is stupid, especially HU, where swongs are inevitable.
KK, back to NL$200 6max, and cashing out after every $2k-$3k. Looking forward to getting HD monitor soon. Thanksgiving is coming up soon, so looking forward to that! Also, pledging is almost fucking over. CANNOT WAIT!
