So, on December 6th, I officially finished pledging, and I'm now a member of Phi Kappa Sigma! It was a long two and a half months, but it was worth it. I'm close with a lot of the members of the fraternity (especially my pledge brothers), and I'm optimistic about our future at Mason. There are lots of stressful things to work out with slight turmoil, unfortunately, but I think they happened for the best.

As far as grades go...not sure if I'll be initiated (I'm RIGHT on the fucking cusp...2.25 is needed)- it all depends on the finals I took this week!. My grades are abysmal because pledging took up a shitload of time, as well as Geology 101 and Econ 103 (Micro) being hard as fuck (I thought Geology would be easy). Philosophy, English, and IT i expect to have a B in, but the abysmal grades in the other classes probably will screw me.

Once I get my end-of-the-year bonus from FTP, as well as my rakeback from LeggoPoker, I will start up again. I've just been running kinda crappy and having no fun at NL$50 6max, causing me to be on a very slow, steady, and annoying downswing. I have a lot of money that I CAN redeposit, but I just don't feel like it at this point. I'd like to think of some sort of business idea, and use the money I've made from poker to start it up. I've played the very occasional MTT with just boring zero luck. I can't run well in one of these damn things!

Winter break pretty much starts now (though I have an IT final on Tuesday), so I'm pretty psyched. Will this break be bad for my health (especially liver)? Very....

BTW, if anyone here is in a fraternity, do any of you have good rush ideas? We're finalizing the rush schedule, and I'm looking for any last bit of input I can get.

Last night I tried to find a way online to create an HTML page (in Dreamweaver) that allows me to create quizzes for myself so I don't need one of my friends doing it- does anyone have any ideas on how to make a website or a program that allows me to quiz myself?

I expect to get $400 in rakeback and $350 or so from FTP; I'll just play some random MTTs with that money (fuck grinding NL$25). I may redeposit $3k, but I'm leaning towards not caring anymore about that. I'm tired of poker and I'm tired of running badly. I have run into hands for the past month and even the biggest maniacs ALWAYS have the hand. Semibluffs don't work, their hands hit, etc. I haven't tilted in a while, but clearly it doesn't matter. It reminds me of Eurolinx in April of this year. I don't expect to redeposit for a while; HOPEFULLY ONE TIME I CAN MAKE A RUN IN AN MTT and grind out. I made one monster fucking mistake in the past 2 months, and that was my shit -$6.5k at 2/4 running badly. Totally my fault, even when running badly, cuz with shots I should quit sooner. But ever since then, I've been on a constant downswing I can't fucking shake! FUUUUCK. Do I have enough money to deposit? DEFINITELY. Have I lost the will to feel like playing poker for a long while? Yes...it hasn't been fun in a long while. The point is to make money, but if every time I play I feel disheartened and frustrated, there's no point in playing. Fraternity things are also very stressful as well, and I think I may potentially take out my frustration on poker (or vice versa), so might as well leave poker out of the picture, except for some MTTs, for a while.
