here is a longer version of what happend last night, BBV style

Brag- Haven't caused a wreck in the 6 yrs I have been driving and only received one ticket for rolling throw a stop sign. (not counting the numerous tickets at school for parking in the wrong place, which arent really tickets).

Beat- When out last night for my buddys 21st bday and decide to drive my dads new F150 Lariat. As we are going over a small but steep bridge the car two in front of me slams on her breaks b.c. there is a trash can in the middle of our lane. The true "beat" is the trash can was sitting just on the other side of the top of the hill, so when she slammed on her breaks, i couldn't see her. The car in front of me, an 08 honda civic, slams on his breaks and at the same time I slam on mine. As you can probably guess, he was able to stop a lot faster then I. Yes, I should have had enough room between my car and his to allow myself to stop in case of such events, But damn... why the hell is there a trash can in the middle of a bridge.

Variance- Once the cars behind us cleared I walked up to the car and ask if everyone is okay, which they say yes. The driver jumps out to evaluate the situation, while the two other guys stay in the car. I ask the other two guys if they are sure they are okay b.c. im going to call 911 and they are going to need to know if they should send an ambulance. They say "no no no, no cops." I say that sounds good to me. The driver is kinda lost as to what to do b.c. he has never been in a wreck. So I tell him he is going to need a police report to call the cops, but we should move our cars b.c. we are blocking traffic. He freaks out, saying he thinks we should leave our cars how they are. I tell him "okay, whatever... the first thing the cops are going to do when we get here is ask us to move our cars"
So I call the cops, who take forever to get there. While we are waiting for the police to arrive the guy in the front seat is calling a bunch of people and after five mins he looks at me and ask "yo, you got insurance." In my head im thinking "fuck me, I know exactly what that means." So I respond "Nope. I just got this truck and havent gotten insurance (yes I know u need insurance to buy a new car).

When the police arrives he ask us if anyone is hurt, everyone says no. he then ask us to move the cars off the road. when we get to the side road, the cop says he needs everyones ID. The driver of the Civic then says the two guys both want to go to the hospital and that the driver can just drive them there. Then five seconds later while still on the phone he says "no no, we need to go in an ambulance." So five minutes later about 10 emergency vehicles show up and take them off.

To make a long story short, I end up getting a $141 ticket, have to pay 500 deductible and am still waiting to see what else I have to pay. Im sure my insurance is going to sky rocket which sucks. Im just hoping I have enough coverage with my insurance company to cover all the bills. Hopefully I run good in that area.

Beat- I feel super bad for wrecking my dads truck. He has worked hard all his life to provide for my family and has never had "the mans truck" he has always wanted. What really sucks is my dad served in the navy for 22 years and lived away away from my family while i was in high school. Once I graduated and my dad retired he moved back home and we got really close. When I called him last night to tell him about the wreck he went nuts. I have never heard someone curse as much as he did. he basically went crazy, which i expected. Now he wont even talk/look at me. I know he cant be mad forever but its just weird how he is acting like im dead when he walks past me.

SO, now that I have gotten myself in this lovely hole, its time to turn the situation around. Im going to use this entire situation to as a wake up call and to motivate myself to work harder then I ever have in the past. In the past I have done well when I focused while play without distractions. So thats the plan! To play confident, not distracted and to have fun.

So last night me and chuck were going to TGIF for his birthday dinner. I drove my dads new 07 Ford F150 Lariat because its way nicer then my Ranger, and I just like driving it. To make a long story short, I ended up rear ending another car. More details and pics to come.

And I though I was in the hole a month ago. lol. time to do some real grinding

Beat- Even though I told myself i wasnt going to play any more heads up cash, I just couldnt resist after seeing how good chuck has been running.

Brag- Started out lossing, as usual, but found a good match and ended up winning 13 buy ins.

Variance- Been up for 24 hrs staight


As far as "The Race" goes, chuck is crushing me. I think he is up to something like 4500 and im at 2400 (plus a 1000 withdraw). So he is tech. beating me by 1200. He will probably beat me to 5k but thats alright, cause i think there is a strong chance I beat him to 10k which is what really matters. But thats it for now.

So me and a buddy are racing to 5k in our account.

The last couple of days have been going reallllllly well! I have been doing A LOT of grinding this week and its been paying off which is kinda cool. hopefully the good fortunes continue and i can keep putting in the hours, which is the most important part. Anyways im super tired and can tell my writing and grammer are suffuring.

Plus last night i final tabled a $10 multi that began w 480ish people and ended up coming in 5th for $280. I tried making a hero call on someone for my stack b.c. i had a few notes on him. I ended up being wrong but no biggie b.c. i feel like im getting so much more comfortable when at final tables, so hopefully we will see some wins very soon.

Anyways, time to get to the grind today!

Roll- $1270

Well i was able to get in a solid grind today! started this morning at 8 and continued to play throughout the day. Throughout the day i played mostly multi table SNGs with a few multi table tourneys sprinkled in. Its so tilting to get deep in a multi and bubble the final table because 1st place in normally 10x-15x more then the normal SNGs im playing. But ill probably keep playing them b.c. im getting deep so hopefully soon ill hit something big.

Overall today was good. My bankroll is up to $912, meaning today was a solid day.

Anyways, this is going to be a quick blog b.c. im fixing to eat and grind some more. Later

I was busy this weekend so i didnt play much, but the few sessions I did play were really swingy. I ended up down 100 which brough my bankroll down to 800. I also had to withdraw 250 for my truck payment which sucks but has to be paid so that leaves my roll sitting at $550 right now.

This Friday is the first day for FTOPS X which has nothing to do with me b.c. im obv. not playing in any of the tourneys. But what it does mean is that if FTP stays true to their previous promo's then this weekend will be the start for SNG madness, which has been very good to me in the past. So hopefully this weekend Ill be forced to play a crap load.

As for today, I have nothing going on so im starting to grind right now (8 AM) and hopefully I can grind for at least 4 hours minimum.

So after having about a month of breaking even and lossing, Ive finally turned my luck around. Around two weeks ago my account was at a low point of $50 and i knew it was time to get focused. I buckled down and grinding a bunch of multi table SNGs and slowly started building back up. After a late session last night I got my account a little over $500. Today i went to the school to grind b.c. things were to loud in my house for me to concentrate. So i started loading in the computer lab but did not end up playing a long session b.c. it was unGodly hot in there. Plus, i only min cashed in one tourney outta like 15. Luckily, i ended up getting a 3rd and a 1st in my last two tourneys to put me up 70 for the session. I stopped by a buddies house and loaded 5 tourney and crushed faces and cashed in 4 so that was awesome.


At this point my account was at around $670. When i get to the house i decide to play another session because its happy hour on fulltilt (which im starting to relize is the most over rated promo). Things start out pretty gay b.c. with me lossing most of my flips, but i keep loading to dig outta the hole. I end up getting a couple 2nds and 3rds to get me back to even with one tourney left. An $8 180 man. We get into the money and im sitting a little below the average. 14 handed i get it in with 10's vs AK for 2nd place stack but sadly i loss and am left with 1.5 big blinds. This is were fulltilt decides its not my time to die. i get it in w/ Q2ss on a K92 one spade board. luckily to turn and river come spades and im back to a 6k stack. the next hand someone limps for 1200 and i shove K10ss ( I really like spades) and he snaps w Aces... I make trips on the flop and quads on the turn to top things off. This put me at 14k and back in business. I ended up getting 2nd in the tourney for $230ish which is a great addition for the Roll. Just needa keep grinding over the next couple of days/weeks.

last tuesday I spent a full day at school grinding in the computer lab, and ended up making $150.. or something like that.. which was great! So wend. i get a call from a buddy who is on a super up swing playing 50NL HU... so i decide to sit and play some HU and proceed to drop 120 within 10 mins. This was a pretty big mistake considering my bankroll was around 300ish when i began playing... So i cant let that happen again and I have promissed myself I will stay off the HU tables...

As for the good news, I jump on tonight and began playing some multi table SNGs starting w/ 170 in my account. I loaded around 13 SNGs and won almost all my major coinflips, which was awesome and ended up making $250 in 2 hrs. cant beat that! most of it came from winning a 45 man $10 SNG for $171
