Turning 27 with a bang! Pics and Video

0

Hey guys a lot to update today so I'm going to do it in phases.

Running Hot

I've put in a lot of hours lately and the results have poured in. I've been winning a lot in the 2/4 games and breaking even in 3/6. I've upped my tables to 9 but sadly can't handle 12. The reason is when I tile 12 tables they aren't all within my focused line of sight. Some table fall in my peripherals and forces my eyes to dart around the screen. This tires me out quicker. I plan to try 12 tabling in the space of my normal 3 x 3 cube with some overlap. I'm about 80% done a ZOOM PLO video at .5/1 so look for that in the near future.

27th Birthday

Another year has passed and I feel a little older. For the first time in my life I no longer feel that young. This is due to the lack of physical exercise over the last year. I finally got over my shoulder a few months ago but got lazy over Christmas with the gym. This carried forward until March when my leg gave out. I just want to be healthy! Anyways my leg is much better than it was and still falls within the 6 week soft tissue injury recovery time. I'm hoping to be better by the months end and finally get back in shape.

My birthday party was held five days before April 5th so I could have a Trifecta Birthday with Caroline and Sophie. We have the same group of friends so we just had a big bash at Mill St Brew Pub. It was a fantastic night that ended with me coming home in a different shirt than I went to the bar with and people giving me money. Apparently I had handfuls of $20 bills saying "People are just giving it away!" In reality my two friends paid me back $60 and I ran into an old poker friend who owed me money from years ago. Not a bad thing to have $200ish of found cash. My friend Shawn says I was so drunk I was leaving the money on the bar so he kept collecting it for me. He left for Australia the next day so I'm hoping its a high number of left over casheeze.

My actual birthday was the day before Good Friday so all my 9-5 friends went out drinking. I made no plans for the night but saw "Galens Birthday Party" all over Facebook. I kept getting texts from people until there was a crowd of 12 at Mill St calling me to hurry over. I simply couldn't disappoint so Sophia and I headed for 27th round two. I'm normally against double dipping your birthday festivities but I had no part in planning this.

On birthday notes big shout to Andreas Skjervoy for being born today 28 years ago!

Bal en Blanc

Sophia gave me a weekend in Montreal for Christmas and tickets to Bal en Blanc for my birthday. For those not in the know BeB is a 15 hour party with 15,000 people with some of the biggest DJs in the world. Everyone dresses in white and has a great time. I altered my CK Vneck to an ultra aggro Vneck. To put it lightly Sophia and I were dressed ultra conservative compared to the crowd. There were a lot of 90% naked in lingerie girls running around. There was also a rather large glob of shirtless gay guys rocking out in the middle of both rooms. We spent most of our time in the Trance Room as I was very excited to finally see Armin Van Buuren live. He brought his famous Cube with him. Its better if I just show you what the Cube is so check out the link of his entrance. The screen goes black for a big while I get up on my friends shoulders to get a better shot.

Well until next everyone have a great week. Expect to see me putting in a lot of hours over the next while to make up for all the fun I've been having.
