Health Wealth WCOOP!

0

Well as usual there has been some time in between my updates. I'm through 3 weeks of personal training and massive diet change with no complaints. In fact we're getting great results in record time. I'm 6 feet tall I weighed in on the fancy high tech scale at 196 30% body fat day 1 and won't get back on it for another week. I have been using the normal muggle scale at the Goodlife that is just the stand on dealy with the arrow and it clocked me at 200 Day 1. Since then Ive dropped down as low as 193 on the crappy scale and was 195 Thursday. Ive always been well versed in how to pack on muscle but pretty oblivious to losing fat weight. Luckily Mike, my trainer and CR member, is keeping me in order. He taught me about something called LSD being the best form of fat loss. Not the drug but essentially long periods of slow movements such as walking a golf course with a bag or moving your friend Zak out of my old apartment for four hours etc etc not to be too specific haha!

Weve been working out 4-5 times a week but he tells me that when it comes to weight loss gym time adds upto 20% of the results and diet is 80%. It really hasnt been too hard to change my lifestyle. Beer doesnt exist to me so Im only allowed to drink vodka waters. He wants me to limit my drinking as much as possible and that was fine and dandy for days 1-12 but Sophias friend Michelle came to town and I was entertaining for the following four days. In the end Ive drank 5 of 21 days with the intention of dratically reducing this over the WCOOP season. Ive registered in 10 MTTs so far and will probly play more if I have time. Sadly I might miss the $300r PLO which should get pretty big as Ill be in a car coming back from a wedding in Niagra Falls. If anyone has experience with mobile internet in Canada while in cars please comment below or PM me. Im considering buying an iPad and mobile stick just for this MTT. I dont know how much I trust tethering my phone for the internet connection when playing for a lot of money.

On the diet front Ive conquered my fear of fish and have eaten tons of salmon, tuna, tilapia and cod. If my mom were alive she wouldnt believe this was possible. My proteins are all clean sources such as the fish, chicken, quinoa and of course my Gold Standard very low in sugar protein powder. Costs 2X as much as most other powders but you get what you pay for. Mike has taught me a lot about portion sizes when on a cut and made sure my biggest meal of the day comes at lunch time. Ive been waking up at 9am or earlier everyday which is a massive feat of strength to anybody whos ever known me. The first few days were groggy but I got into the flow of things quickly.

With all these changes going down Im glad to say I can visibly see results in the mirror after such a short period of time. My 33 inch pants fit comfortably again and my muscles are firming up quite nicely. I cant wait to bink a WCOOP and be one month further into this body transformation. Ill be in great need of a vacation in October or November so to my euro friends keep firing me options of party nights to come over for.

Today is Sunday and for most its a big poker day of the week. For me I much rather sit back and relax while my horsies are off to the races. Ive gotten back to staking select people in specific MTT I see value in. So far weve completely blanked but I have faith in my guys so more time is all itll take before I get the O ya you just made $20k on the couch doing nothing phone call. If I wasnt sick and Sophias parents werent up visiting I would redon my two card shove hat and make a Sunday exception for the WCOOPs and other value Sunday MTTs but today is just not possible. Im a thousand times more likely to fall asleep before the thing is half over than win a NL MTT in this state.

Thats basically all for now so Ill end this with a nice healthy easy to make snack or meal and my WCOOP sched.

Take a 200g box of quinoa and make it the standard way but replace the 2 cups of water with 1 cup and 1 cup of any broth that suits your fancy. I prefer chicken broth. Cut up some peppers and onions to add when its done. Dont cook them so you retain all nutrients and crunch. While this is going on cook up a pack of ground turkey in a frying pan. Add any seasoning you deem necessary or none at all it wont matter either way. When this is done add the turkey to the finished quinoa pepper mix. Heres the kicker find yourself a low in sugar salsa from the grocery store and mix in as much as you want to give the whole thing a good kick. Make sure its a healthy salsa mix and not some shitty cheap brand. Ive been using Tostitos brand and Sophia bought the PC jar yesterday so Ill see how that works out.

My WCOOP schedule obviously includes all the PLO events with both the Turbo NL. I like NL but cant see myself playing 30 min blind level $200 tournaments so this is a nice compromise. Theres a strong possibility I fire it up in the HORSE and mixed games. If things go well this month I want to add in the $5k main, $1k fixed limit holdem and maybe some $1k NL. Im considering adding in Omaha 8b events as complete muggens win this things all the time. Ill be consulting with my friend and Stars Online pro GodLikeRoy about my likely edge in a game Ive never really played before. For now I have 10 MTTs for sure and a months worth of possibilities.
