So basically I got burned out but I am back on track. I totally changed the games i'm playing, instead of playing 6max cash games and 6man sng's, I've been playing HU cash and sng's which is really less like a grind and more of a competition. I also picked up omaha HI which I really enjoy and seems to be the only thing i'm beating consistantly... Which i'm positive is sheer beginners luck, but honestly, i'll take what I can get.

It's starting to get cold out, hunting season is this weekend and I honestly can't wait. It will be my first trip home since school starting and i'm not bringin the laptop as I need a real break from homework, work. Speaking of such, my fuggin laptop boots up, runs some check it never used to, then won't boot to windows.. It's really starting to tilt me but I just bought a new desktop not to long ago so really haven't used anything but that. It's always nice to be multitabling/surfing on a diff PC instead of both at the same time. (something i need to quit as it greatly affects my game, i have ADD ftw.)

Life's been pretty good, poker has been horrible for me but its all variance imo. I'm getting it in with the best and thats all that matters.

I am also considering finding a cheap coach, someone at around 100 an hour, i've been playing for a year so would only need a few sessions, I just feel I got some major leaks in my game that could be patched up rather quickly and i'd be on my way but who knows, I could be the donk of the century and just not know it.

I actually just had a question, if there are any omaha experts out there, let me know if this was the right play. I like'd it at the time, but I feel alot of the time against better players, i'll only get called with a better hand, so critque please.

I think I found my niche. 6max Sit N Go's of the 20$, 22$ and 33$ variety. I have just been crushing them the last 48 hours. I brought my ROI out from negative 50% to 17% with $239 as total profit. Pretty good for 49 games, well for me atleast, I guess i dont know what the average would be but I am definately satisifed at this point. I don't think it will be long before i'll be able to move up to the 50,55$ level.


On a differnt note, I've been at school since September now and finally got my room together. New nice bed, new computer/desk and chair. Really likeing my set up, it makes me feel alot better about my game which I don't think is uncommon amongst us and being comfortable in our playing environment.



School is going about is good as it can be I guess. Not really soaking anything in just doing what is neccessary to get by with all things in my life right now. The only complaint I have about life is that my sex life is at like an all time low. I guess having a girlfriend for 3 years and getting it when you want it, isn't the same as being single and having to work for it, which trust me... I do try. I'm just waiting for that door to open so I don't make the same mistakes I made with the last one and it can actually be a successful relationship.


I've been thinking about that alot, and how you don't know really what love is until its gone and then you wonder why it's gone and then you realize that you were a fucking dink the whole time. I think that now that I have gone through that, well maybe, just maybe.. I won't let it happen again. Who knows tho, i've been known to due some pretty retarded shit so i'm not going to keep my hopes up or force anything just stake it one step at a time, holla.


For the first time in a few years, I actually feel like I have a direction and that instead of standing still. I am moving forward at a rather quick rate, prolly just growing up (i'm only 22). I don't think I take life itself for granted as I have had many close relationships with people whom have past and most of them my age, away from their families and in a differnt country but thats a whole differnt story and we got nothing but time.

Just a full tilt reg here, decided to take my game to the next step ~check out some coachin,vidz and overall start participating in forum discussions. I am a member at 2p2 as well as Leggo Poker and also don't post as much. Im starting out with 1k, thats today. Had some things to withdraw and what not for so now im just looking to build, play some 6man 22+2 sng's and grind my way up the ladder of sucess.
