Last party, HIIT Training and Xbox 360

My last entry was not written in a sober state. May 1st is a holiday in Germany (day of work) and the day before there are partys everywhere to "dance into may". A bunch of freinds and I first played some wii and had some Vodka RedBull before we went to the Gym the father of one of my best friend owns where we had some more drinks and chilled (It's the gym with the new and awesome sportsbar / lounge). At 1am we went to one of the best clubs in town where I met a good friend who is a broker.

We hadn't seen each other for weeks (he works in another city) and he decided that we had to celebrate this. So he bought us a bottle of Grey Goose with RedBull. After that bottle I was a bit drunk andalways when I'm in this state I lose the feeling for money and alcohol, so I ordered our table another bottle of Grey Goose.

When the smoke had cleared I noticed that we had another bottle on our table, which was bought by one of my friends. Well the night was fun like hell and at 4:30am we went to an italian restaurant which is open till 5am and where we often grab something to eat after a night out. I decided that the bill is on me (we were 4) since nobody wanted to CC roulette with me and I was in o good mood. (They paid more for the bottles this night and one of my friends was driving and I really appreciated this)

The next day we went to the cinema and saw Iron Man. And wow. Robert Downey Jr. is really doing a great job. If you haven't seen the movie yet, and even if you don't like superhero movies, you can give this one a try.

On Friday I had a really good workout followed by a healthy meal and had a business-meeting in the evening.

Yesterday I played GTA IV at a freinds house and decided that I def. need this game. So I ordered a Xbox 360 and GTA IV. I hope everything arrives here tomorrow. If anybody of you has some advice for some cool games please leave a comment. I'm also able for some Xbox Live Matches once I have set up everything here.

I'll post a pic of my setup (nothing baller) when everythings installed.

Today I started with HIIT training and wow that is brutal. I'm not in the best shape of my life because I didn't work out on a regular basis the last months and only played basketball a few times. That's why I'm working on a new exercise plan and also on a good nutrition plan. If someone has some experience with HIIT Training and can give me some tipps on how to set a plan up for the next few weeks I would really appreciate a comment.

So that's it for now. I'll start grinding tomorrow, as I only played 300 hands and lost one buyin this weekend. I really didn't feel like playing poker because of the really nice weather. I'm going to watch todays episode of "Las Vegas" and then go to bed.

Wish you good luck at the tables.

Im so wasted (Update)

Ok so here I am again. And first of all Im really wasted.

So today I was buying a new Nunchuk for my Wee. I really love playing Mario Kart and only had one Nunchuk and that sucked really hard.

Last night I watched a trailer for 88 Minutes on my Mac and today I saw a DVD for the movie. I asked my self how that movie wich is released on 19 of April can be published on DVD on April 30iest.

Im a real fan of Al Pacino but for all of you out there. This movie is just bad. No sense at all.

Im going to sleep now.

Patrick

EDIT: Oh wow I'm having a headache and think my head will explode within the next seconds.

Just wanted to add something to 88Minutes. The Movie is from 2007 and never went to the cinemas in germany. It was right away puplished on DVD. And even though Al Pacino is one of my favourite actors I can say that nobody has to watch this movie. It's just really bad.

I'm going to get some breakfast now, then watch some 24 and after lunch go to the driving Range to hit some balls.

Setting a goal

Blog by : CASHius-Clay

Yesterday was pretty uneeventful. I went to college for an hour, than cleaned up my room (boring) and browsed the web for some time. At 6PM I had a business-meeting which ended at 9PM. I really love making money and hope to be able to make some more with poker in the next months.

After the meeting I went to the gym which has just got a new Sportbar & Lounge. The bar and Lounge area was designed by one of my best friends and it really looks fantastic. I'll take some pictures this week and post them. Maybe I'll be able to get some before pictures so that you can see what a great job he has done.

I wasn't really into a workout so I just went into the steam bath and the sauna. Back at home I watched an episode of "Las Vegas" that I tivoed this weekend and went to sleep.

So now to the goal I set myself.
I cashed out everything but 200$ from my BR and now start to play with proper BR management and only when I'm absolutely focused. I have the problem that the money I win or loose playing Poker on the internet doesn't really affect me and therefore if I'm bored I make stupid plays that are really -EV.

So now I decided that I will spend an hour a day with poker theory. Reading a book, articles or watching a video here on cardrunners and after that play at least one hour of poker without taking shots at Levels that my BR is too small for. After the session I will go through all hands and will blog about my results and key hands that I played.

So that's it for now. I'm going to get lunch now and then my mission will begin.

Oh I got a new cell phone yesterday. The Nokia E61i and I really love it. I just have to get the blackberry option so that I will be able to receive and write my emails when I'm not at home.

Wish you good luck at the tables Patrick

First Entry

Blog by : CASHius-Clay

So here we go. This is my first blog entry here on cardrunners and my first blog entry ever.

I just joined cardrunners yesterday as a gold member after being a Guestmember for about one and a half year. The reason I joined now was actually that the dollar is so low compared to the Euro that it really should be a no-brainer for all european poker players who understand the english language to join now.

So from above statement you will already have noticed that I'm from Europe. And to be exactly I'm from germany.

So I'll just start with some things about me to give you an impression of who I am.

I'm 22 years old and studying economical-engineering. I'm also an entrepreneur since I was 16 years old and have two small companys that I run besides college.

I started playin Poker about 2 years ago, but just played for fun and actaully had no clue what I did. After I ran 25$ Up to 100 in about 2 days of play and than losing it all back in 10 minutes I took a break and started playing again a year ago.

I read HoH and started to browse through 2+2. I became a break-even player and always had the problem that because of the money I made from my businesses that the games I played just weren't thrilling me and so I always started to play above my bankroll once I had a few winning sessions and most of the times I just lost most of it back.

So 2 weeks ago I told myself that I will never do this again and started grinding the low limits again. 50NL and 25PLO as 50PLO with a cap.

I ran pretty good and decided to join cardrunners to develop my game and take it more seriously.

I will be blogging about poker related stuff but also about other things in my life. Mainly because I hope to stay more focused if I just write my thoughts into a blog everyday.

Maybe some of you are interested and enjoy reading it. If not thats ok also, because I mainly do this for me.

Thanks for reading and have a nice day.

Patrick
