Last night at about 4AM I was sitting on my bed 1/2 asleep with my door open when I feel Maybe licking my face!! I have no idea how she made it back home, as it's over 4 miles from my friend's house to my house and you have to cross 101 which is a major freeway. What else boggles my mind is that we had never gone for a walk or run from my house to my friends as the roads are very bad and don't have sidewalks. We had driven the route hundreds of times, but never on foot. For her to remember how to get home is simply amazing to me and for her to actually navigate all the busy traffic is even weirder. I always knew she was an incredibly smart dog, but what she did amazes to me.

Here is a map from my friend's house to my house. I am at point A and they live at point B. She walked from point B all the way to point A. I changed the location of my house, so you crazies can't find me!!! :) Some how she managed to cross 101 which has an underpass, but is still very busy. It has 4 lanes of traffic and numerous lights and is always filled with cars. For her to maneuver through there is unbelievable. Also how no one picked her up, particularly my acquaintance who called me is beyond me. Whenever I see a dog on a busy street without an owner I investigate. Maybe its a scenario where there are so many people around, everyone things that someone else is going to do something.

I also want to thank my amazing friends who were there for me when I needed them. I value friends on if they are there when times are tough and my buddies were. They were out putting up fliers and going to the shelter with me. They easily could have sat inside and played video games or worked, but they offered up there time and spend hours helping me search. I am really lucky to have such awsome people in my life.

She is lying on my bed with me now and is absolutely exhausted. If I lift up one of her legs and let go it falls directly to the ground. Here is a picture of her! Sorry if the quality sucks, I don't own a camera, only have my phone.
