Ugh it has been a week of little sleep with more and more school. Luckily, I am doing well so it is worth it. So May 4th, I went around telling everyone it was cinco de mayo, and of course I looked like an idiot because cinco (five) de (of) mayo (may) is obviously on the 5th of may.

I set up a twitter account, my username is williamcraven, and hopefully I can update if I make any deep runs in tournaments. I never play many FTP mtts as the fields are far too strong for me to justify playing with other easier games available.

I did run crazy hot in the first hour of the mini ftop event #1. Hit two top sets, and quads another time. At one point I had over 400bbs. A crazy loose player sat to my left and would not fold anything to my reraises. He made smaller bets taking advantage of position and put me in a lot of tough spots, and I obviously tightened up significantly but being 300bbs+ I am not used to and being out of position every single hand was a bitch! I tightened up but got unlucky in a few hands, top two vs str8 draw, over pair facing huge third barrell on river, fold it twice, call it once and lose, etc, and eventually busted right before the antes kicked in. Very disappointing but I noticed how soft these huge tournaments are and I may begin taking shots at them.
