Vegas is 4 days away!!!

0

Hey guys, wanted to update you on what has been going on in the last week or so. Well I ended up offering Alex a chop on our bet. The reason being that on the 27th and 28th, I had two night sessions where I really didn't want to play but did have to based on this bet, and on both nights I lost 5 bi, it was really frustrating and I couldn't justify playing at times when I shouldn't be in order to win 250 bucks. There was no doubt that I was going to get to 100k hands, but it looked like Alex would get to 50k hands with a lot of work, and my future in laws were in town so I didn't want that hanging over my head. My final results for the month were 94,336 hands, +76.5 bi.

Right now I am getting super excited for Vegas, just a few days away and I have a ton of little shit to prepare for, going to the bank, making sure I have enough money for the tournies, setting up my new laptop to grind during the month, paying taxes etc. All of the guys from my poker group will be out there for the first week, and its the first time we've seen each other for like 6 months, so I really can't wait for that. I now have a schedule that I will be playing 6 events including the main event which I am so excited about. I am in the process of going through a tournament cram week, trying to pick my tournament friend's brains, playing a bunch of them, and reading plenty of books and watching videos. Wish me luck because I am years behind the current trends in tournament poker, but if I get to play turns and rivers in these tournaments on day 2 or 3, everyone better watch out because my postflop game is nasty.

Just really excited about June, I can't wait for Sunday to get here, hope to see a bunch of you guys out there

Salud!
