Hello there, i've decided to start a new blog here on Cardrunners. I have already a poker blog on Liquidpoker.net for some time ( if you are interested more about my past go http://bab.liquidpoker.net/ ).
Well maybe you ask, why did i make another blog? Hmm, its mainly because it force me to think about the game more, its always nice if more people read your thoughts and there is much bigger chance that i'll come in touch with more people who are willing to work on themself, same as me. Its always nice to meet new people with same hobby, so thats probably why. Also i find writing very relaxational and i have good time while writing. Anyway if nothing else, i'm forced to practise English as well :).
Just a short info about myself ( more details in my old blog if interested ):
Have been member of cardrunners for like 3 months, found the site really helpfull for myself. From videos i prefer especially players like Brystmar, Abba, CTS, Fabian, Verneer ( every video have a value for me certainly ).
Also i love to read Verners blog, and i'm sure he is going to be the top 3 blogger very soon ( eventhough there is such a big gap there :) ). He is partly the cause of me blogging more and giving me motivation as well.
I'm playin poker close to 2 year. Have been struggling on FR at beggining playing on party 16 tables ( what a dumbass... :) ) at once. From that i'he been moving from site to site (bonus to bonus) and via pokersavvy bonusses have made some income i've been using in my daily life (not building BR much). Half year ago i decided to start playing poker full time for living, although i was playing NL25/50 at that time and had no clue whats its about. But i was determined to found out, if the poker is right for me, so i jump the train and for roughly 6 months have been playin poker really intensely. I moved on NL100 like 4 months ago and been able to make enough cash for living and maintain BR for NL100 as well. It was not easy for sure, im not any great player, lived mostly via rakeback and massivelly multitabling. Going through some really bad times, when i had to move down ( NL50 and once even NL25 ). That was going on up to the end of the year 2007. NOwadays i'm fully realizing, im not developing anymore skills and i feel like if i become more robot than ever and this needs to stop or i'll have a really hard time to live with myself... :D
On the positive note i've made some changes already. Dropped the number of tables ( max 5 now ) and whats more important i've started to play HU every now and than. And i really feel, like if i'm starting to developing new habits and absorbing new insights. Hopefully its not something like fatamorgana :) and its gonna be still better, but i really feel good about my approach to the game.
So i'm NL100 player right now, looking forward to go up in stakes as soon as BR allows ( shots at NL200 everytime i hit 4K$ and drop down when lost 3 buyins ).
Ok, thats about me. Next time i'll zoom more to the style i'm playing, with detailed stats and so on. Keep getting better and better on tables, bye BaB.
