Sippin_criss is a sit and go specialist who is known for his consistent results and his ability to play dozens of tables simultaneously.  He is also an aspiring professional golfer who splits his time in Phoenix, AZ and Vancouver, BC.

The 3 websites I spend the most time on are:
reddit.com
facebook.comtwoplustwo.com. All pretty horrible time wasters, but they are entertaining, and twoplustwo has helped me a ton poker-wise.

My worst habit is:
Having too much fun with my friends. Not the worst problem to have, but having balance in my life has been a struggle, especially this summer.

I’d want my last meal to be:
I'd probably end up dying before I actually chose one last meal. I'll go with my Mom's chicken quesadilla's.

The readers would be surprised to learn that:
I want to be a professional golfer, I was supposed to be there by now but I'm still working. One of these days.

sippingolf_400The most surprising song on my iPod is:
Haha. Maybe Linger by The Cranberries, and Break Stuff by Limp Bizkit. I'm pretty nostalgic.

The TV Shows I DVR are:
I haven't had a TV in about a year, but my favourite shows to watch online are Dexter, The Wire, and The Simpsons

My largest personal indulgence is:
My bed, or my Aeron chair. I'm simple and low maintenance but I'm happy I shelled out for both of those.

The coolest place I’ve traveled to is:
Korea in November of 2009. Maybe next time I go I'll actually prepare and be able to speak some Korean! I got to see and do a lot of fun things I've never done before.  In this picture I'm jumping off the Daegu Tower.

n538430576_4953713_283_400I drive a:
2005 Honda Accord, named Sandra.

After booking a big session, I celebrate by:
A lot of the time I'm unresponsive, but if I really needed it emotionally or financially I'll probably dance around for a while, depends on what music is playing. :)

If I could go back in time and witness one single event, it would be:
Wow, tough one. Instead of thinking about it forever I'll just cop out and say when Greg Adams scored in OT against the Leafs in game 5 to get the Canucks to the Stanley Cup finals in 1994. Sorry IJay.

Favorite drink at a bar is:
I usually just drink beer if I'm at a bar, but sometimes I'll accidentally drink a jagerbomb or two.

When grinding a session I eat/drink this:
I don't usually eat anything since I have so much going on, I make sure I eat right before I fire up, and I always have a jug of water on my desk.

The talent that I don’t possess that I wish to have is:
I'd love to be able to play the guitar. Once I learn to play the guitar, I'd like to learn how to fly.

My favorite casino in Vegas is:
New York New York. The piano bar and the roller coaster inch it just ahead of the great times I've had at Imperial Palace... don't laugh!

If I could switch shoes for a day, I’d want to be:
My answer has always been Tiger Woods. It's a bit closer these days obviously, but I think I'd still go with Tiger.

Can you describe your computer setup:
I guess the most noticeable thing is that it's usually a sloppy mess. No point in tidying it up if I'm just going to mess it up again anyways. I could probably do with putting something on the walls but again, pretty low maintenance.

If I could implement any one change to an online poker room, it would be:
More aggressive punishment for players who are offensive in chat, it really sours the experience for the recreational player who is there trying to have a good time.

My most memorable day in poker was:
Getting chosen to be a CR instructor was pretty memorable, but probably about 4 years ago when I won my first (and only) MTT, it was a $3 tournament on Stars and I had a bunch of my friends sweating me at the final table. I cashed for about $940 which was borderline life changing at the time, haha.

My most memorable celebrity encounter was:
Running into Matt Mays in the street in downtown Vancouver. Most people won't know him, he's a Canadian musician from the East Coast. I was walking down the street with a friend telling her Matt Mays was my favourite musician and bam - there he was. We chatted for a few minutes and he was a really cool, nice guy.

My biggest regret is:
Not taking advantage of online poker when it was really booming 3-4 years ago. My only real poker aspirations were just to make a living, not to make millions of dollars or win huge live events. It was just an efficient way for me to be able to work on my golf game. Had I actually aspired to win loads of money instead of make an ok living for myself things may have been different. More than anything else just frustration at myself for being lazy.

The most money I’ve had in my cashier online is:
Trying to embarrass me now huh? Probably somewhere in the 4k neighbourhood. Shhhh...

The largest amount of cash I’ve ever held in my hand is:
Maybe 2-3k, definitely not very memorable.

What was your biggest losing day and what was going through your head afterwards:
I think I lost close to 1k in a day playing 27s/38s in January of this year. Played bad/ran bad. It was a helpless, frustrating feeling. My golf game was really coming into form then too so I was hoping to get into some mini-tour events, but I just kept losing money so I couldn't afford it. For someone who makes a living playing poker losing 1k in a day is not much at all, so I'm thankful for that.

My biggest poker pet peeve is:
When I act before thinking and misclick fold a hand I want to play. Sometimes I used to accidentally spaz double click the raise button and would end up minraising an open with 83o or some similar garbage. Taking beats and having bad stretches is something that happens to everyone, but when you make a dumb mistake you can easily control, that is frustrating.

My favorite prop bet that I play regularly is:
I sometimes do small volume props, but I'm not much of a gambler. Right now I'm doing a weight loss prop with my Dad, loser has to buy tickets, beer, and my flight to Edmonton for a November 2nd Canucks/Oilers game. He's got no shot.

When you are sensing or feeling tilted, what do you do to unwind/relieve the anger?
If it's got me depressed I might just take a nap and try to forget the world for a while, but I usually don't get that emotionally out of sorts... for very long. I find myself getting especially upset when I'm hungry, so I'm usually good to go once I have a good meal.
