CardRunners members watching the ESPN broadcast tonight of the final table will spot a familiar logo on three of the players. Representing CardRunners with patches on their hats and shirts are Matthew Jarvis, John Racener and Filippo Candio. Below is a brief introduction to the three players, and for more information you can listen to exclusive CR interviews with Racener and Jarvis. First prize in this year's Main Event, which attracted 7,319 entrants, is $8,944,310.

Filippo Candio

Filippo Candio is the only European at the final table and hails from Sardinia, Italy. He is 26 and starts the final table with 16,400,000 chips. He revealed before the final table that he was a longtime CardRunners member, and joked that his mom "speaks better English than me. I would call her over when I was watching a CardRunners video and ask her to explain what something means." How many moms out there understand VPIP and BBs? He started his poker career playing local live tournaments, but later moved to online cash.

Mat Jarvis

Matthew Jarvis, also 26, is a huge sports fan from Surrey in British Columbia, Canada. His love of golf comes from his father, professional golfer Norm Jarvis. During the break from July to November he won two live tournaments, and hired Sorel "Imper1um" Mizzi as a coach to help him prepare. He's come a long way from his job selling knives where he first learned to play poker. He plays mainly SNGs and MTTs online, although he's currently learning PLO cash. His stack size going into the final table is nearly identical to Candio's at 16,700,000.

John Racener

John Racener is a 24 year-old from Port Richey, Florida and heads to the final table with 19,050,000 million in chips. He prides himself on his bankroll management and strong support network, which includes several friends from high school. He started his online career when he was 16, turning a $50 deposit into over $30,000 grinding cash and SNGs, starting from .02-.05 NLHE. He's a big fan of HORSE and won the FTP Sunday Night HORSE tournament during the break. One of his tools while preparing for the final table was running simulations with friends playing the roles of the other players at the table.

Congratulations to Filippo Candio, Matt Jarvis and John Racener for making the final table of the WSOP Main Event!
