Long-time CR member Josh “oasis00” Budin released the first part of his series on beating the HUSNG games today at CardRunners.
Introduced to the game by a few colleagues, he played his first hands of poker on a lazy Friday at the office while using paper clips as poker chips. Later that evening, he’d try out live poker at the casino and was became hooked.
Attracted by the speed and variety of opponents’ styles, he focused on HUSNGS and has logged over 30,000 games. He has had 39 consecutive winning months and has experience at all stakes, as high as the $500 games. Though he’s played many turbo and hyper-turbo games, he plays his best at the regular speed tables.

In his first series at CardRunners, Josh will tackle the subject of playing dry flops. Part 1 will focus on playing dry flops, part 2 will address floating check-raises on dry boards, and the final part tackles check-raising dry boards in HUSNGs.
